This stone built detached cottage is located close to the village of Pentewan in Cornwall and can sleep four people in two bedrooms. Nut Cottage is a stone-built detached cottage in a hamlet close to the village of Pentewan and its sandy beach, just three miles from the fishing harbour town of Mevagissey on the South Cornwall coast. With one double bedroom and one single (with an additional pull out child's bed), this cottage can sleep four people. The cottage also contains a family bathroom, a fitted kitchen and a sitting room with a dining area. To the outside of the cottage is shared use of the owner's enclosed garden and a private patio... with garden furniture and a BBQ as well as off road parking for two cars and bike storage. With the Lost Gardens of Heligan and the Eden Project close by, Nut Cottage is in an ideal location no matter what you want from your holiday.

Town: Set back from the sandy beach at Pentewan is the village of the same name. With a local shop and a traditional country pub, visitors come from far and wide to enjoy a family day out beside the sea. With an excellent coastal path, the area is popular amongst both cyclists and walkers and offers views across the bay toward Devon. Within easy driving distance are the Lost Gardens of Heligan as well as the historic and scenic Charlestown harbour and the nearby fishing village of Mevagissey – both of which provide many restaurants serving fresh fish directly from the harbour. All prices are inclusive of the booking fee. The "Min. Per Night" prices quoted are based on the weekly rental price, they are not applicable for short breaks. See our short break policy or ask for further details.
Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the "Winter" period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the "Low" and "Mid" periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday. "Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.

  Prompt efficient service from Sykes.
  The house was very quaint and old fasioned, we felt that it could have done with a thorough clean, allthough by no means was it dirty, just that the window sills were housing dead flies and the house was in need of a hoovering. The tv needed replacing as the picture was green, the owner tried to persuade us that this was normal for the area but my partner used to repairs tv's.
  The owner was very pleasant and courteous and couldnt do enough for us, but we sometimes felt he was too intrusive. Whenever we opened the curtains in the morning he was outside of the window. We also came back from the beach one day and found a key to our front door in the lock. We had our valuables in the house and the owner had obviously been in to the property whilst we were out and left it insecure. I did speak to him about it but he was very vague and couldnt remeber why he had been in the property.
  The best thing about the cottage was the grounds it was in and the perfect location to beaches and all of Cornwall.
