Searcy, ARAffordable, Comfortable,Family Friendly Vacation close to the be
Left on 08/16/2012 for a stay in August 2012
Overall a good experience. You could not see the beach from the balcony, but it was close enough to hear the waves. Easy walk to the beach. The pool and condo were clean and well kept. The only issues that we had with the stay was that the matress in the master bedroom needs to be changed out and sleeper sofa matress was too thin and the kids could feel the bar through the matress. The gate code that we were given for the beach gate was not correct. We were able to get the correct code from another guest.

Orlando, FLNot super nice but not too bad either
Left on 08/02/2012 for a stay in July 2012
We enjoyed our stay at the Grand Carribean West. The only down side I could say was that our condo smelled smokie, our kitchen sink leaked really bad (even after the maintenance man came to fix it). He said he had been back to the same condo to fix the sink several times... it literally worked for like 5 minutes and then started leaking again but we didn't want to spend our vacation waiting around for the maintenance man so we gave up. The other issue we had was that our front door did not have a lock inside the door (only locked from the outside). Basically the front door just had a door handle, which was a problem because our two year old could just open the door and run out. The maintenance man was able to give us a piece of wood to wedge in the door to prevent our son from opening it but this is probably something you want to be aware of if you rent condo #110. I would also ask for a non-smoking condo if you don't smoke, we assumed they were all non-smoking. Overall it was a decent place with easy access to the beach (not on the beach)... nothing fancy but it served it's purpose. :-)

Lawrenceburg, TNDeceptive advertising--listed under Destin
Left on 07/10/2012 for a stay in May 2012
I had been looking at Grand Caribbean under Destin properties, so I was very surprised that it was in Perdido Key. I didn't realize it until it was too late. But, the place was nice and we were able to do what we wanted. Did have to go to Destin for our deep sea fishing.

Your comments are important to the success of our organization, as we rely on you, our guest, to tell us how we are doing and how we can better meet your needs. Sorry it was a little confusing for you when you booked but we do have deep sea fishing here in Perdido Key. Again thank you and we are glad you still enjoyed your stay with us.

Loved the privacy of the beach area. Short drive to the "tourist area". Must see the Blue angels and museum while there. Great week at a beautiful beach. Plenty of room for all of us. Comfortable King size bed for us, and the kids liked the hallway bunks.

Planned a last minute trip and had my choice of 2 rooms, I chose #110 and I'm so glad I did. I was afraid since it is right in front of the pool that it would be loud and not so relaxing. This was not the case at all. We had a private gate to the pool that we shared with 1 neighbor. The pool was never too crowded and at times we had the entire pool/patio to ourselves. Shocking! It's a very short walk to the beach, but no beach view.
Inside, had blackout curtains on all windows which you definitely need. Slept great in the king bed, 2 kids (12 & 14) slept in the bunk beds. We brought sound machines that helped with some door slamming and jumping above us. But even those noises tapered off by 10-11pm each night. My only complaints - 1) need a different shower head for more water pressure, 2) need a key to the patio door so you can go to the beach to/from patio gate.
I would definitely stay there again. No question about it. And the rental company was great as well - with my reservations, check in and even stopped by their office to print some directions. -

We enjoyed our stay because it is close to our family. It is easy to get into and out of. The security is great, too. The condo is always clean.

Enjoyed our stay and loved the convenience of the condo being so close to pool and beach. One complaint was the shower which did not drain well but other than that, it was a wonderful experience.
