What Past Guests Are Saying
We loved this condo! Beautifully decorated and nicely laid out. A balcony view of white sands and blue water and sky completed the perfect place to stay. Management was easy to work with and attended to the minor requests we had. We hope to go to Pensacola again someday and we would call here first, even tho most times we like to try new places.
We are very satisfied with the accommodations. It was very clean and decorated nicely. The pictures on the website painted an accurate picture of where we would be staying. The only complaint would be the ice maker was broken but that was really not an issue.

Needs Some Updating
1. Mattress in Master Bedroom was very very noisy even to touch.
2. Carpeting throughout needed re-stretching as it was very lumpy.
3. Comforter in Master Bedroom in need of replacement as it was not only very lumpy in spots but was also sun rotted and heavily stained.
4. Outdoor furniture was flaking on a windy day. Flakes were flying into the living room when door was open. Furniture is iron and is in very bad condition.
5. Porch is in need of repainting as it is very spotted.
6. Very disapointed that when I requested some additional towels as we were expecting guests with children for a couple of days we were not able to get any additional towels, I had to purchase them. Resort Quest was very accomodating when they managed Unit #402. And also, the towels and sheets were not of a very good quality as the towels were very harsh on your body.
Location is great and service has been good.
Very disapointed in Management as we were never told that to use our charge for rent we would be charged an additional 2 1/2%. This was told at check-in and I had asked twice before we rented the unit. Other rental companies do not charge in spite of what we were told by the staff. We have been coming to Perdido Key for 16 years and Pointe South is the only one that I know of that does it. We have stayed at the Grand Carribean for 5 years, 5 years at Sandy Key and the rest at the Palacio. Of all, we like the Palacio the best and like the location of our unit. We have stayed at Unit #402 but with Resort Quest but now Pointe South manages it.

Little Things Make a Difference
We had a wonderful stay at the Palacio, but there were several "little" things that could have made our stay better. The a/C never fully cooled the unit the entire week, despite keeping blinds closed (and when you come for the view, that's a biggie!) and a worker's attempt to fix it. The light above the Master shower was out, a cabinet door in the Master bath was broken, the fan in the living room was unbelievable shaky and unusable, the ice maker was broken and we were kind of confused about the check out process.
However, I was very pleased with communication from the Pointe South staff regarding our reservation. When we reported the a/C problem, they sent someone right over, but never followed up-we just let it go and lived with it. When I called the after hours number to receive check out instructions, there were none, so we just left. We really liked the keyless entry and appreciated the fact that we didn't have to keep up with keys all week! Also, the nights that the security guard was on duty were very reassuring. I would pay more in the future if I new a security guard would be there every night.
Again, we had a wonderful stay at the Palacio despite several "little" things that could have made it better. My interactions with staff and agents were wonderful!
very nice place to stay
I loved the place, but was very upset that I had to pay an extra $60 to check in early when no one had been in the unit since Tuesday before my stay. (We arrived the Friday). Other places would have gladly let us check in earlier without any extra fees.
We had a great time during our stay in Perdido Key!
Loved Palacio! Parking across the street we did not like! Liked our unit. Master bedroom needs a new matress.
Stay at Palacio
Everything was good. What I didn't like was the fact that the umbrella/chair vendor on the beach had the whole beach completely lined with rental chairs and lounges. There was no place to put your own umbrella and chair. Therefore the beach area was very crowded. Other than that everything was good. The condo itself was first class.
Southern Resorts and the Palacio were both top notch
We recommend booking thru Southern Resorts for a Florida vacation. The workers are helpful and do their best to meet your needs. Our family all agreed this was our best Florida vacation ever!
