Our stay at Perdido Skye #21 was absolute perfection. We didn't get the warm weather that we had hoped for, but we still enjoyed every moment together. The condo was in a great location... we were close to everything we needed but felt away from it all.

As this was our first time staying at Perdido Skye, I was slightly apprehensive about the accommodations. As soon as we walked in those feelings washed away. This was the perfect place for us. Being only a one bedroom unit, I was afraid it'd be very small. I was wrong. This was a spacious and comfortable unit. Very nicely decorated and updated. The kitchen was well equipped with standard appliances. I loved having the washer and dryer available in the room. I will defiantly be staying again next year and highly recommend this unit and have already done so!

We rented this unit at the last minute, shared it with my daughter,son-in-law and grandson. Small but worked out well for us since my son-inlaw left on Tuesday am and the rest of stayed until Sat am. Unit was not as cclean as I expected it to be. The sliding glass door to the patio would not hardly open. One of the lamp on and off switch did not work. The patio furniture was very cheap plastic and the backs of the chairs were cracked and broken. I reported this and the service man came the next day with a beautiful new patio set with cushions. He fixed the lamp. Worked on the sliding glass door, locked broke while he was there, worked on it the the best of his ability, but only helped the door alitte. The whole door unit needs to be replaced. The track is damaged which makes the door not glide. The issue with the door was in a previous review and I asked about it before renting this unit and was told that issue had been taken care of. I feel the renting agency for this unit is not on top of the issues or the owner isn't really concerned about their property. Also,the parasail/skido company that was on the beach near us was very inconsiderate of those on the beach. Most of the time the workers for the company spent most of their time showing out on the skidos, which caused the waters to be rougher and many time they were pretty close to those in the water and was noisy.

The condo was very comfortable and well equipped. The property seemed to be one of the smaller in the area so the beach felt less crowded. Shopping and dining are just a short drive away. There a couple things that could be improved on in Unit #21: The sliding door is a fight to use, the floor was sticky and left your feet dirty and there was a pet odor that hit you when you walk through the front door. That said, we will definitely stat at Perdido Skye Condos again.

We received great service from Southern Vacation Rentals. The the condo was clean and in the perfect location right on the beach and close to great seafood.
The things we liked least were the king size bed, pillows and plastic patio furniture, no of which were comfortable at all.

My friend and I really enjoyed our stay at this condo. It was beautifully decorated, and definitely met our expectations. The bunks are cute, but most definitely for little children so don't plan on sleeping 6 adults if you rent it. The only issue I had was that the King bed was very uncomfortable and uneven! The mattress needs to be replaced soon. Positives were: elevator access, beach access, and a washing machine/dryer combo.

This was a really beautiful place to stay. Lots of great restaurants located in the area. Weather was really nice, even for early spring.
Our condo was very nice, was well kept and all the furniture was in good condition. The kitchen had all the basic essentials and even a wine bottleopener. All linens and towels were in good supply and clean.
The condo complex had a nice swimming pool and easy access to the beach. There was a chair service (additional charge) in front of the condo complex which is nice.
There were only two slight negatives for this condo. One was that the sliding glass door to the patio had bottom rollers which were worn out and the door was difficult to open/close and especially from the outside. The other thing we ran into is on one occasion we were cooking dinner using the oven and from a previous tenant spill in the oven enough smoke was generated that all the smoke detectors went off. It was barely noticeable to us but we got the message. It was easily resolved by opening the front and patio doors and the sea breeze did the rest in less than a minute. Its good to know the smoke detectors work but we didn't try cooking in the oven again after that.

We have stayed at Perdido Skye every year for the last 14 yrs except when Ivan damaged the area. We love the views on the beach and the unit is great. The property is not so large it is over crowded and washer/dryer in units for a 1 bedroom is a necessity. Highly recommend!

This an end unit. Excellent view, very clean. Lots of Sunshine! The reservation process was flawless, and customer service was outstanding! Nice quite area of the beach, and grocery store and dining were close by!I will be returning to this unit.

My husband and I stayed at this condo for a month. We loved it! It was wonderful to wake up every morning and watch for the dolphins while sitting on the balcony having our morning coffee. The patio furniture could be a bit better, but it was fine for us. The bed was a bit older and could beneft from maybe an extra foam pad. Other than that it was perfect! The condo is well stocked and well appointed. The building is very well kept. We loved teh heated pool! Fitness facility is pretty good too. We'd definitely recommend this condo.

We visited this Perdido Skye rental for five glorious days. The weather was perfect, beach was clean, the property is well maintained and the unit we stayed in was well
supplied and nicely decorated. The end unit provided ocean views from two sides and we spent a lot of time on the balcony. November is a great time to visit Perdido Key.
Quiet and relaxing. We wanted to cook lobster one night and someone suggested
we visit Joe Patti Seafood in Pensacola. What an experience that was !! It's huge and the selection of seafood was like nothing I have ever seen. The lobster was only $ 7.47
a pound. It was sooo good the first night, we went back there a second time and had lobster again. We would definitely stay at this property again and in fact, we tried to make reservations for March, but it was already booked. No surprise there. Love Perdido. -

This condo was just what we were looking for...we loved the view, especially the sunrise and sunset off the balcony! You also have an ocean view from the master bedroom window. This is right on the beach, so you can go to and from with ease...we will definitely be back!

corner balcony the room was 2 floors up-which was changed -from the 1st floor with no hesitation and a sincere apology - due to a leak on the bottom floor-

This was a great little condo. Well taken care of and clean. Nice view from the patio (though the patio furniture is nothing fancy) and a relaxing spot to sit and hear the ocean. Also, easy access to the beach and pool, just a quick ride on the elevator or 2 flights down the stairs. It's also a corner condo, which is great! You get extra windows that way and you don't have condos on both sides, which makes it a little quieter. We did have to buy more laundry and dish soap (we stayed for a week and have 2 kids) - there was really only enough for one use. Also would recommend bringing a few extra trash bags, paper towels, napkins, and toilet paper. Besides that, we had no complaints!

At Perdido Skye, we always make new friends. The families that we meet are always happy, friendly and fun. Perdido Skye is so convenient, always clean and never a problem. This past year, we went to the Bands on the Beach in Pensacola, Sailed in a Bay in Alabama. The Pensacola Blue Angels Air Base is always fun to visit. We have been coming to Perdido Keys since my teenagers were toddlers. Sun, Fun and Friendly Faces...always!

We have have always been partcial to the pan handle beaches. Love the sugar white sand and beautiful waters. Perdido Key was every bit as lovley as other beaches in that area we have been to. Our condo was clean well furnished and nicely decorated. We had an amazing time and a wonderful rental experience. The people at point south rental's were not only very friendly but very helpful and accommodating. We will definitely be returning...

We rented this home for a week for a family vacation. We have 3 young children ages 7, 4 and 19 months old and this place was perfect. The boys loved the bunk beds and the King size bed allowed us to have plenty of room even with our toddler daughter with us. The weather was fantastic and the view was breathtaking. Perdido Key is our favorite vacation spot because it is not heavily commercialized and therefore a great place to vacation with children. We will continue to vacation here for many years to come. Thank you so much for sharing your home with us.
