The agent that assisted uf with our reserviation was friendly and helpful. We receive our entry coded via email, so accessing the unit when we arrived after hours. was easy. We found the unit to be cherfully decorated, clean and fresh. We had everything we needed during our stay. The view was spectacular. The beaches were clean and the water was warmer that we expected for October. The pool was clean with pleany of lounge chairs. The retail center across the street which has tow good restaurant/bars only adds to the convenience of this location. We can't wait for the opportunity to come back.

We very much enjoyed out stay at Perdido Key. Acomodations were nice and beach was beautiful. We were disappointed that we were not told the bunk beds were much shorter than standard sized beds. Both of my daughters were 6-8 inches longer than the beds. It should say these beds are for young children or very short adults.

My wife and I, along with our 2 children stay at Perdido Skye #56 from 21 through 27 July 2012 and from start to finish, it was a wonderful experience. The condo was clean, well equiped and the view was gorgeous. We will no doubt plan to stay there again in the future and would recommend this property to anyone wanting to enjoy a nice beach vacation!

We arrived on one of the most beautiful days of the summer. It's unfortunate that we were not able to take full advantage of the best day of the week because of the 4:00 check in. We would have had to pay another $100.00 to check in an hour earlier, so I didn't feel that the price was justified. Check in and out procedures were simple and appreciated. Parking was also never an issue, and although the elevator was great to have for hauling luggage, it seemed as though it was struggling to keep up with the demand. Also, water pooling just outside of the elevator seemed problematic--very slippery on the slick cement.
The room was nicely decorated. The bunk beds and sofa bed were very uncomfortable for my kids. The master bed was solid, so that while I slept well, I did wake with a stiff back each morning. There was only one roll of toilet paper in the room--would have been nice to at least have two. There was no pitcher for beverages, so we had to go to Publix to buy one. The first day all they had were $15.00 glass pitchers so I didn't get one, but the next time I went back for more supplies, there was a plastic pitcher in the clearance buggy for $5.00 so I snagged that one--and took it home with me. Other than that, the kitchen was fairly well stocked, except for the necessities: trash bags (you have to bring your own), paper towels and napkins (which I brought anyway), coffee filters, etc.
The deck area had a small table and small plastic chairs. There were three nicer deck chairs, but it was difficult to enjoy it because of the unit below constantly dripping water down on us. All week long. Also, people hung towels and swimsuits from the deck railing which contributed to the dripping.
This property is definitely more suitable for families with younger children. We had to drive long distances for dinner and activities.Response from Southern Vacation Rentals - 07/01/2012

If reported to us that you didn’t have a pitcher, we would have been more than happy to bring one to you. It seems any where you go Sofa Sleepers are never comfy. We have contacted the owners to get approval from the HOA to repaint and add a nice rug near the entrance. This we are happy to report has been approved. My family and I really enjoyed our stay at Perdido Skye, the condo was very clean and well stocked,the pool was nice and the direct access to the beach was great, umbrella and chair rentals was also a nice option. We will definetly be back!

We had a great time at Perdido Skye. The accommodations were exactly like the picture. Everything was clean and comfortable. The kitchen had everything needed for cooking and the balacony gave us a perfect view of the Gulf. We enjoyed the beautiful beach and the pool, too. This was a great vacation spot for our small family!!

We stayed in this condo for several weeks and it was quite comfortable. We had stayed in this condo several years ago for a week and the older furniture was very uncomfortable. The new furniture was appreciated. My husband loved the lounger since he was having some health problems and needed to be off his feet. Some of the condos we have stayed in have had no chair or uncomfortable chairs and no foot stools. The sofa was comfortable to take my naps and enjoy watching the gulf!. The air conditioner and heater worked.. We've had other condos that could not be kept warm or cooled. The kitchen is well equipped and all applicances worked. We could have used a larger TV... most condos have nicer and larger TVs. We enjoyed the corner location and we will be staying there next year! Maybe there will be a new TV to surprise us.

we arrived after hours so we didn't get to have much service but the people were freindly at the office at checkout. We loved the view and the amenities were great. Pool was wonderful the outside shower was so good that when I arrived home I built me one .. Only negative thing I could say is there is only one elevator and it gets slow at times otherwise we will be back to see ya'll next year.
