This marks the 3rd time we have stayed in #74 it fits our needs very well and is very nice. I would stay there if we were coming back next week. We really had a very good Dauphin experience onThursday They played and jumped out of the water in front of Perdido Skye the entire day, it was awesome. The only down side of Perdido is walking on the beach it is very hard to do. I guess you can't alter nature.

I was in paradise and had everything I needed in the condo.

We had a wonderful stay. The beach and area I breathtaking to me. I am not complaining by no means, however when it I humid outside and you open balcony door, the floor is very slick. Just a heads up, I loved the condo. I felt right at home and will be back.

Great place for a couple who don't need luxurious surroundings. It was clean, comfortable, and had a wonderful view from the 7th floor. We, above all, loved the price.

The condo was very clean and comfortable. We had my daughter's 2nd birthday there and she had a blast! The only down fall is they didn't have a laundry detergent as I would have expected. Also the keyless entry kept messing up.

      Most relaxing vacation ever!

Left on 06/07/2012 for a stay in June 2012

I found this property while searching the Internet for a girl's trip. I knew we had chosen the right place when I called to make the reservations and Scott was so nice. He answered all my questions and followed up with a few emails.
When we arrived our feelings were confirmed that this was going to be a great trip. The pool was wonderful--our first priority and the room was perfect. It was clean and just as it was described.
Please take the advice of the list the managers send. There are things we needed that we're not provided. This is the only real complaint we had. Every other condo we've stayed in has provided at least three rolls of toilet paper, a roll of paper towels and trash bags. This property only had one roll of toilet paper and none of the other items. There were plenty of towels and a washer and dryer so washing those was no problem. We brought our own washing powder.
"The Key" as the locals call it, is a quiet beach and has very little as far as entertainment, but, it's close enough to Gulf Shores that you get the best of both worlds!
We will be returning on future girl trips and with our families. It's our new found treasure.

We had a wonderful time. Condo is very comfortable, clean and excellently decorated. I enjoy cooking and this is one of the few that has good pots and pans to cook with. Plenty of towels. The office personnel are very nice and helpful. Look forward to coming back soon.

Southern Vacation Rentals appreciates your thoughts expressed from your last visit. It was unfortunate that you arrived when we were in the process of changing our hard key locks to keyless locks causing a delay in your arrival time. For your next visit, you now have the opprotunity to go directly to your unit at arrival and there will be no need to check in with our office. Again, thank you for giving Pointe South and Southern Vacation Rentals the opportunity to offer you a wonderful condo for your stay.

      Okay, but not Great

Left on 08/23/2011 for a stay in July 2011

Condo was good, but traveling with 2 teenagers (one boy and one girl) it made it a little stuffy. With the single room and couch, someone had to sleep on the childs bunk bed. But, for the price, it was not bad. Thanks.

The weather was perfect and the time we spent with our family was priceless. Fyi!!the bunk beds are made for short people or small children, my young adults were too large to fit without their legs hanging out.

      Comfortable and Great Location

Left on 06/23/2011 for a stay in June 2011

Four of us stayed here for a girls weekend away and were veyr pleased with the place. It was clean and well supplied with everything we needed. The sleeping space was more than sufficient- we could have comfortable brought two more people along. The location was the best part- right on the beac and right across the street from a nice little mall with restaurants, a great bar for nightlife and a little shop. The pool area was also nice. No complaints. Would definately stay here again, great value.

We were thoroughly happy with out stay in unit 74. Everything about the unit was exceptional! Our only regret was there were no spices for cooking and local stores did not have small sizes for sale. Strong recommendation that management sell $10 bag of various spices and/or other staples that would make the kitchen more functional.

I recently stayed two weeks then added another two days because I just didn't want to leave. The condo is decorated very cute and in spite of the oil spill problems, the beaches stayed very clean and the water showed no signs of oil. The cleanup crews worked diligently and it truly was a great vacation!

Good place, we are return customers

Left on 03/27/2010 for a stay in March 2010

I really like Perdido Skye, and Perdido Key is a great place for anything, it's sooo quiet and it is the "anti Spring Break". Not a Girls Gone Wild beach, and this is why we choose it. The beaches are beautiful there, although spring break weather can be iffy. We met so many nice adults on the beach, Orange Beach in AL is only a 10 minute drive. Everything is so close. Be sure to check out the Lighthouse and visit the museum at the Navy base. You will probably be lucky enough to see the Blue Angels. We did, from atop the lighthouse.

The condo was very nice. The bunk beds are for children or a short adult like me (5'2"). Anyone taller will definitely have trouble on those bunk beds but they were nice and comfy. Plenty of towels, everything was clean, lots of room in the condo and it was quiet everywhere at the condo. They don't rent to anyone under 25. The condo has everything you need (except coffee filters!) so be sure to check into what you need to bring from home. There is a Brookshire Brothers about 3 minutes away by car, and I think another grocery store is being built. At least that's what the sign said.

You will have to spend $20/day for two lounge chairs at the beach. I personally think it's worth it because you get the awning too. You can bargain with the guy for them, though. I did, $20 for two days, two lounges. This condo did have umbrellas we could bring down, but if you are older and don't like lying on a towel on the beach, you will want to rent the chairs.

These condos all have balonies that face the ocean. Get up early to see the sunrise and you will see dolphins jumping up in the air, birds diving from thirty feet in the sky into the water, if it's low tide, lots of shells. Take your flashlight out at night and watch the little white crabs run all around. There are jillions of them. KIDS LOVE THIS!!! Adults too! The water is emerald green, the sand is white and very, very clean. And CLEAN UP AFTER YOURSELF WHEN YOU LEAVE THE BEACH

I enjoyed the decor and amenities of the unit. The balancy views were the best with the excellent outdoor balancy chairs. The design of the pool to beach front walk was excellent. The only thing I would change is an express checkout where you leave the keys in the room and head out. Also, please keep the promotions coming.
