I was really disappointed in our stay at Perdido Sun. In the bedroom they stuffed in a king bed when a queen would have worked a lot better. The bed comforter was black & gold making the bedroom depressing. They used so much bleach that I couldn't sleep on the sheets. There were two windows in the bedroom and one was covered up by a dresser with a TV on top. You did not feel comfortable opening either window as they faced directly on the outside walkway. Anyone walking by had a direct view into your bedroom and bath. You could hardly turn around in the bathroom it was so small and it was so dark when you were taking a shower you had to open the curtain to see. The tub drained so slowly you were standing up to your ankles in water. When we approached the front desk with the problem we were told we would have to contact someone at the booking agency. The same thing happened when we couldn't connect to the WiFi using the passwords we were given - again we were told they couldn't help us - we would have to contact the booking agent. They gave you a bottle of dish soap in the kitchen but no drainer to put your dishes in - nor was there a potholder in the place. At night there was no one there to police the late night parties that took place in the hot tub. The patio furniture had black mold. For the price we paid I expected more attention to detail. The unit did have a nice view and the building itself was well maintained. I doubt that we stay at Perdido Sun again.

The room was very nice but could some more cleaning and the bed is in need of a new set of mattress very badly.

We have not received complaints of the mattress and with our comments we will have the mattress assessed to see if it may be time for a replacement.

This one bedroom condo was beautiful and everything I needed for a peaceful retreat while visiting my daughter at college. The view was amazing and the weather was nothing less than perfect. The condo was relatively clean and well kept. The living room was tastefully decorated and the kitchen was well furnished. The king sized bed was extremely comfortable. Within the condo, the only issues were 2 of the bathroom lights were burnt out and the shower curtain in the master bath appeared to be too heavy for the rod and fell continually. I specifically picked Perdido Sun for the indoor pool in case of inclement weather and for the hot tub. Although the temperature of the hot tub was nice, the jets had no pressure to them whatsoever.

Was a nice relaxing place to hang out for two adults. Only issue we had was the bedding/mattress was extremly worn out- time for an upgrade of box springs and a new mattress folks. Actually ended up sleeping on the sofa the last night... otherwise nice...

We love staying at Perdido Key. We usually take a 4 or 5 day trip in the Spring and again in the Fall. The last couple of years we have stayed at the Perdido Sun. We usually stay in a 2 bedroom unit because we like having the bedroom on the Gulf side and for the washer and dryer. We opted for the on bedroom this time to save some money. This was our first time to stay in Unit #514. It is a nice clean unit. It is a little dated. The carpet in the bedroom could stand be replaced. I didn't think the bed would be very comfortable when I first set on it. But I ended up sleeping great.

We stayed January and February at the Perdido Sun #514. This unit is managed by the Point South office of Southern Vacation Rentals. The office is within walking distance of the Perdido Sun condo. The staff at Point South were friendly and helpful. We had a couple of issues while we were there and Point South staff were there within the hour to handle them.
The Perdido Sun condo commons are remodeled, bright, clean and well maintained. Staff members man the front desk during the day to help with questions. We used them for faxing, copies and stamps. It was convenient to do this there at the condo. They have a mail pickup and delivery. We had a couple of packages delivered while we were there with no problems. The heated, covered pool is large. There were organized water aerobics three mornings a week. The exercise room is small but several machines are available. There is a party room where residence/guest organized potlucks, bingo, card games, a Valentines party with a dance, a Super Bowl party, a BBQ cook out, and bus tours to the casinos. There were activities nearly every night if you wanted to join in. Publix and Winn Dixie and CVS are a short distance. This location is central to Pensacola or Foley, AL.
Our unit was a one bedroom, 2 bath and a large balcony. No laundry. The kitchen is quite small but efficient. We used the condo coin laundry in the basement. There were five machines and we never had to wait to do laundry. It is located down a long basement hall and you defiantly feel you are in the utility portion of the condo.
We throughly enjoyed our stay. The beaches are amazing. -

Check-in was a breeze, all desk staff was very pleasant. The unit was nice and cozy. Has a nice view of the Gulf. Master Bed could have been softer. All in all, it was a great getaway for 2.

We love the view from this corner balcony: dolphins, sea hawks, pelicans, tide conditions, weather window. This is our 4th stay, and we love the comfortable feel. Everything is well-maintained and has a friendly feel. We stayed an extra day this year, and went home with the desired relaxed feeling. Can't wait to return - maybe in the fall.

This was the first time we have stayed in Perdido Key, FL. We had a wonderful stay and really enjoy the area. It is definitely a place I would like to return and spend more time. Everyone was extremely pleasant and wonderful to talk with. Keep up the good work.

While the value for the condo was a good deal and the property set on the beach, the condo itself was very disappointing. There were dirty towels left in the bathroom, and the shower curtain was covered in mildew. The blankets on the bed were so old and dingy that my wife and I had to go to Target and buy our own to be able to sleep comfortably.
We have stayed in numerous places up and down the Emerald Coast as it is our favorite vacation spot. Unfortunately this was the least enjoyable stay we have had and I would not recommend this condo to friends or family. -

We had a great time and everyone was friendly and helpful. The beaches were fantastic. The rental was average but the price was in line with a more upscale condo. The fitness room was nice and the pool facilities were fine. However, we're coming back in the fall to a different condo.

The condo was clean and pretty much as described. Lovely view, well equipped, except for no washer/dryer. Nice place for a family. Security system was a nice feature. However, I did have a few issues. The bedroom television was very small. I never saw any staff near the pool area or on the grounds except at the front desk. The mattress in the bedroom was sort of flimsy and old. Really needs to be upgraded, but other than that the furnishings were very nice. I used the outdoor pool, but slipped on the steps which were very slick,hurt my knee,and that spoiled the end of my trip, and we left a day early. It is still hurting and if it is not better, I'll have to seek medical treatment.

We needed to get away from a long dreary winter and this was the place. We found our first visit to Perdido Key relaxing and the people very friendly. Our accommodations were great and even nicer than they appeared on the internet. We were very pleased with the condo - it fit our purposes perfectly. The building was quiet and the beach was beautiful. We only found one problem with this trip - we had to leave and go home.

Perdido Sun PS514 gave me a much needed relaxing week. The check in at Pointe South was quick with friendly, informative staff. The lobby staff and the outside staff were also friendly and extremely helpfull. They even mailed my husband's prescription sunglasses to us that he had left on a luggage cart... The home was comfortable, with plenty of towels and washcloths. The 5th floor had a good view on the beachside and on the front side of the local tropical scenery. We enjoyed watching the beach walkers, fishermen, and just watching the gulf waters wash up on the beach. There was a variety of "beach birds", herons, pelicans, seagulls, and some I can't identify. We were there with 3 other couples, and this was our first time to really RELAX without a schedule. We spent time in the large pool, and much time in the covered pool, but the shoreline seats, our frequently moving with the tide,were the best. And, then there was the sunrise and SUNSET... You can't go anywhere in the world and have a better view...Hope to go there again. The staff, even the housekeeping were true Ladies and Gentlemen.

When I got to Perdido the agents at Pointe South were very friendly and my condo was ready early.....got to my condo and it was really neat...very nice and comfortable....roomy....the pool area is great....view from 514 is terrific.....staying in that unit makes it hard to go home. Wish there was a washer and dryer but it sure wouldn't keep me from staying there again.
