We have visited the Gulf for several years, this was by far the smoothest process we have ever had. The Windemere was just as pictured and described, the suite had ever luxery one would need to have a relaxing stay. Very clean, everything was up to date and completely functional. Having keyless entry was fabulous in that you never had to worry about scheduling and whether or not you had your room key, the view was spectacular, being closely located to stores and restruants was a plus, the pool and hot tub area was nice with the extra seating and the balcony type area to be able to still enjoy the sights and sounds of the sea and last but not least the security staff was so nice and helpful on move in day.

We loved our week at Windemere! Easy access to the beach and the partially shaded pool. The two-bedroom condo fit us along with son, daughter-in-law and toddler quite comfortably. It was nicely furnished and the kitchen had plenty of dishes and cooking accessories for us to eat in many days. Shrimp and fish from the seafood place just across the bridge with side dishes from Publix - yummy and easy. Placing small rugs from home at each door reduced the amount of sand we tracked in. This condo has no designated parking spot, but it was not usually a problem. Also, the sofa could use some cleaning. Otherwise it was perfect!

Windemere 1405 is one of the nicest apts we have ever rented at Perdido Key. The furnishings are lovely. It has a huge master bath with 2 sinks, walk-in shower and large tub. It is pretty special to be in a " penthouse" which requires a code for the elevator. Great views from the balcony. The pool was very nice with a shady area, though te hot tub is small.Now for the down side: parking. There is very little unassigned parking (only 35 spaces) and this apt does not have an assigned space as of a few weeks ago. On the weekend, we got the last spot. I guess people who came in later had to park across the street. There does not seem to be anyone in charge at the Windemere in case of problems. I did call and email Southern Vacation Rentals about the parking problems. Sean contacted the manager who reminded him that she had advised about the change of reserved parking a few weeks before. Sean was very nice, but of course couldn't really do anything. I would recommend this rental during the off season when parking should not be as much of an issue.
