Rosa Apartment is a beautiful ground floor apartment, completely independent and surrounded by a big private garden. It is situated in the semi-detached cottage and it is in front of the pool. The entrance leading directly to a spacious living/dining room with the full equipped kitchen, table and sofa. Doors open onto the big private garden with a beautiful equipped gazebo to eat al fresco and a wonderful view of landscape and... pool. Barbecue is at disposal. From the leaving room, a small disengagement leads to a big matrimonial bedroom and to a bathroom with tub. A second double bedroom opens onto the living room. If needed, a single bed can be added in the big matrimonial bedroom.

The APARTMENT is equipped with: TV SAT, DVD, Wi-Fi - fast Internet connection everywhere inside and outside/ HAIRDRYER / BARBEQUE / RESEVED EQUIPPED AREA IN THE POOL / INDEPENDENT HEATING

The KITCHEN is equipped with: refrigerator/ freezer, oven, stove with 4 fires, kettle, percolator, dishwasher, toaster, USA coffee machine, Moka and all you need to cook at home

THE OUTSIDE and THE FACILITIES

The estate is surrounded by a large common garden hosting all the collective facilities.

POOL AREA - a beautiful green area, with a large swimming pool (14mx7m), with an outdoor shower and romantic covered gazebo for each apartment / open from May to October

MEETING AREA - inside and outside spaces for all together being with a large room and a bar corner and an outdoor area with beautiful panoramic loggia

PLAYGROUND - dedicated area for little children with a nice playground

LAUNDRY - laundry room with a washing machine for guest use

PARKING - parking area inside the property

RECEPTION - owners are at disposal for any information, spoken languages ITALIAN/ENGLISH/GERMAN

We can arrange: WINE TOURS, TOURISTIC TOURS, BOAT TOURS on the river Arno (Birdwatching in the Natural Reserve of “Bandella e Valle dell’Inferno”.

The AGRITURISMO consists of two farmhouses, the main house "COLONICA PRINCIPALE", with 5 large apartments, and "THE COTTAGE", with only 2 apartments. Each apartment has its own independent entrance and equipped garden. Private patio in the pool area for each apartment.

The holiday farmhouse is excellent located, since is central between Arezzo, Siena and Florence and also close to the major art cities of Tuscany and Umbria; San Gimignano, Cortona, Assisi, Lake Trasimeno, Perugia and many other art cities will be easily reached.

Florence is easily reached by car and also by train, without having to move in dense city traffic and paying expensive parking. Train station is 4 km from the house (free safe parking).

Surroundings:

The area is full of nice restaurants that offer the typical Tuscan cuisine and Pizza.

Supermarket, bank, pharmacy, food stores, grocery and gas station are in Laterina and Pergine Valdarno only 2,7 km from the farmhouse. Every day of the week, open air markets in the small towns in the area.

Activities:

Tourism, art cities and ancient medieval villages. Wine tours in the local farms.

For those who like sports, hiking, mountain biking, fishing, tennis, clay pigeon shooting. Along the river Arno, beautiful walks and bird watching.

Additional Location Information

This Agriturismo is located in Pergine Valdarno, near Arezzo, on a panoramic beautiful Tuscan hill overlooking the River Arno.

It is ideally located for visiting Arezzo (15 km), Siena (52 km) and Florence (65 km); San Gimignano, Cortona, Chianti, Valdichiana and Casentino are also close.
You can even visit the Umbria region with its beautiful towns including Perugia and Assisi, the city of San Francisco.

In the surrounding medieval villages such as Pergine Valdarno and Laterina, historic landmarks as the “Church of S. Maria in Valle” from the 17th century, “Buriano” bridge, used from Leonardo as background in its masterpiece “La Gioconda”, the national monument Pieve di Gropina, the ancient settlement “Il Borro”, the Etruscan “Strada dei sette ponti”, are worthwhile a visit.

The Natural Reserves of “Valle dell’Inferno e Bandella” and “Ponte Buriano e Penna” will also give visitors the opportunity to explore this area natural environment through quite a few charming itineraries.


You can practice sports like golf, mountain biking, fishing, clay pigeon shooting and of course hiking. Rural roads along the river Arno are an ideal place for touring and cycling.

If you like to go shopping, you will find many outlet stores at attractive prices. "Outlet Valdichiana", "Prada Space", "Dolce and Gabbana", and many others...


The First Saturday and Sunday of each month one of the most important Antiquities Fair takes place in Arezzo.
In Arezzo is also organized twice a year the famous ”Joust of the Saraceno” an historical commemoration dating to the XIV century that takes place twice a year in the Piazza Grande. The traditional joust is celebrated on the first Sunday of September, and a "minor" edition on the second last Saturday of June precedes it.

  We had a lovely vacation during the two weeks we were here. The apartment was excellent and everything you could think of was availlable.
  The kitchen was well equiped and everything was very clean.
  The owners where very friendly.
  
  If the apartment was availlable this year we would have gone back.
  
  Pergine Valdarno is a great place from where you can discover Tuscany and in the little village itself is a great restaurant where we have spent many nights.

  Très calme. Propriétaires très acceuillants, chaleureux et disponibles. Bâtisse très jolie, refaite avec des matériaux anciens à l'identique. Très propre. Au centre des sites à visiter (Arezzo, San Giminiano, Sienne); possibilité d'aller à Firenze en train, très pratique.

  relax and confort in a wonderfull place with very nice guest.

  The place is wonderfull, located in the middle of the country side, on a hill with a great view. The apartment is really really nice with all confort and the owners are so nice and gentle. We had the possibility to buy some product like fresh cheese (very very good) produced by farmers of the area thanks to Marina, the owner, who also offered us as present a special olive oil and marmelade. In conclusion, some very special days! And animals really welcome! we have a dog :-)
