The cultural centre of Perth and Western Australia is only a 5 minute pleasant walk away. Enjoy access to art galleries, museums, theatres, cinemas and a host of other entertainment.
Northbridge has an abundance of cafes and restaurants. Nearby ( 5mins) William street has a great selection of funky bars, retro stores and a vast array of good value asian restaurants.
During the summer months there is always seems to be an event happening in Northbridge. The Piazza just around the corner has evening outdoor cinema, family events and music. Russell Square gardens are on the front door and fabulous Hyde Park is 10 mins walk away.
The city centre is just 5 minutes walk away and from there you can easily walk to the river and esplanade gardens or Kings Park. From the river you can hop on a ferry to South Perth and Perth Zoo, the markets and seaside restaurants of Fremantle or Rottnest Island or hire a bike and follow the bike path all around the river. From the city centre you can jump on a train to the beaches of Cottelsloe (10 mins) or to Guildord (15 mins) and Swan Valley wine country.

The Cooks have a bright, spacious and immaculate home that is perfect for any visiting family or even more luxurious for a couple to spread out with 2 large bathrooms (one with ensuite laundry which is very handy!) I spent a week in their very relaxing space that feels like Bali in Perth, with a lovely balcony and outdoor pool on the common grounds. The location is ideal as it is within close walking distance of downtown Perth while nestled in the heart of a more funky neighbourhood (if you're from Toronto, it's like a cross between Queen West West and Kensington)! I ate my face off at all the cool restos/cafe/bars right downstairs and around the corner with great local shopping in between. All in all a perfect place to base your Perth/Wa exploration from - thank you Rebecca and Simon!

Excellent accommodation overlooking local park. Clean and comfortable with good lift access. Spacious lounge with well-equipped kitchen. Well-kept garden area with seating. Within walking distance of city centre and excellent for local bars and restaurants. Good taxi service from airport.
