Description from the owner
Set in 15 acres of Olive groves, fruit trees and woodland, this secluded farm offers the perfect holiday 'getaway' and yet is within an hours drive of Pisa, Florence, the Versillia beaches and ski resorts (in winter) plus many of Tuscany's most famous attractions. It is a working farm, producing some of the worlds finest olive oil from it's 350 trees plus apples, cherries, kiwis etc. With chestnut beams and terracotta floors the farmhouse maintains many of the original features but with the added comforts of central heating, wood burning fire, solar panels and the obligatory wi-fi!!

TotnesWonderful Tuscan Casa!
Left on 10/12/2012 for a stay in March 2008
We loved staying in this fabulous house - so peaceful to be surrounded by mature olive trees, and with cool woodland walks all around. The local town is very un-touristy, with superb restaurants ( our favourite was Pucci's ) and there are lots of historic hill-top towns a short drive away. Convenient for Pisa, Luca, and even Florence not too far away. We will be back!

I've stayed over many years at this holiday paradise. Been every year since 2003. The Chestnut house, romantic hideaway for two. My partner and I a romantic week on our own. 2 Family holidays where 6 stayed in the farmhouse, and 2 more in the cabin. We also stayed in the cabin another year on our own. Came back again Chestnut house and farmhouse. All very happy times.
Rural setting for relaxing, sightseeing its close to Florence,Pisa, Appenine mountains and coast.
Outdoors nature on your doorstep, trekking, cycling, whatever your ideal holiday is, you will find Tuscany can be for all the family.
Why do I keep returning because there is so much to do and see.
Always visit Lucca.
Pescia is a historic and medieval town, lovely to stroll around.
Food and wine at its very best. Italians serve food and wine with such pride.
With many villages surrounding Pescia, including Collodi "Pinnochio Parc" Birth place of author.
Monte Carlo winery. 10 castle and village tour, starting at Pietrabuona.
Spa towns, market towns.
Monsummano Terme, with Chocolate and shoe makers. Oh and golf as well.

We had a wonderful stay here with our children. The house is lovely, comfortable and peaceful, the views are spectacular and the local market town Pescia is a friendly, charming place with many delicious restaurants. We will definately return!
