Hey Wendy -
I just wanted to write and thank you for allowing us to stay in your beautiful beach house. It is certainly a gem on St. John! We loved it. We all felt very comfortable and relaxed and enjoyed every minute of our stay. The proximity to the beach and water was unbelievable. Your house has everything one might need for a great vacation - including all the water sports equipment and things for the kids. Not sure why you aren't down there living full time!
Shanna was great. It was nice to know she was on the grounds if we needed anything. She is such a delightful young woman and we enjoyed talking with her. She had all of our provisions waiting for us and set up a wonderful all day boat ride for us, too. Glad that we got to know her a little.
St. John Catering was absolutely fabulous. They really did a fantastic job
for us. We used them quite a bit - since having two kids there - it was
easier than going out to a restaurant. They were on time with deliveries and the food was fresh and prepared just right. Our night when the chef came in and cooked was such a treat. Thanks for recommending them.
We hope we will be able to return to the beach house again. Thanks again and take care.

We stayed at the beach house this year as we have in the past. As far as I am concerned there is nowhere else I would prefer to be. Tranquil, beautiful,private, perfectly appointed in every respect. We have children ranging from 10-24,and everyone was thrilled! Thank you Peter Bay. I plan to come down after my son's wedding...if I make it through!

Even with a horrible tropical storm/hurricane, our stay was fabulous. And even with a broken water pump, Shanna was incredible, allowing us to use her apartment and quickly getting the pump replaced so we didn't have to go more than a day without showers - but when you're right on the beach and living in a swim suit, missing a shower is nothing! We were well taken care of, the location is the absolute best on the entire island. The house is wonderfully comfortable, the pool is perfectly cool, the snorkeling is like traveling to another world, and the beach is bliss. We used the house kayaks to get around to nearby bays and the pool mats to float in the ocean. We loved the Peter Bay beach house, as always and we cannot wait to experience it all again sometime.

My wife and I will be returning in a few months for our 4th stay at the Peter Bay Beach House since 2008. We bring my three children and parents for a week long stay and some of the finest memories of our lives have been formed here--one of the most beautiful spots on earth. We always return rested and restored in every sense of the word. A dream: to be able to go there some day and never leave!

St. John is a one of a kind place. It truly is Heaven on earth. The Peter Bay Beach House only adds to the experience. It has a great property manager, fantastic service, and prime location. With the beach only a few steps away you literally have paradise in your front/back yard at this house. The seclusion and privacy also help you to relax even more. I have been twice and words can't adequately describe the pristine beauty and amazing experiences that await you at the Peter Bay Beach House!

The Beach House is unbelievable beauty and the perfect Paradise. There was not a single detail left undone for our stay. We had all the necessities plus pampering that we could possibly imagine. The Beach House well exceeded our expectations and our stay was a "once in a lifetime" type of experience. We would highly recommend this vacation rental and hope to visit again ourselves some day soon.

We had the loveliest time at Peter Bay. The view and privacy was incredible, and beyond my expectations! I had looked at the web page before, but the pictures didn't do the house justice. I fell in love with Peter Bay, and can't wait to return to St. John!

The Peter Bay Beach House was the destination for our 25th Wedding anniversary, and we could not have picked a better destination. Wendy andrews was very responsive and easy to deal with during the planning and booking process.
For 7 days, the beach house was our own paradise! The main house and guest house amenities were spectacular. The location was secluded and private. There was really no reason to go to any other beaches on the island when you have your own beach!! Although the accommodations were spectacular, we still felt like we could "live" in the house. It was very comfortable. We had no worries for the week as the caretaker of the beach house was very accessible if there were any questions or concerns.
We feel very fortunate that we were able to stay at this wonderful location and treat our kids and their friends to a truly outstanding experience on Saint John...Heaven on Earth!!! -

It's difficult to accurately convey what an amazing experience it is to vacation at the Peter Bay Beach House. It's so much more than the sum of it's parts: a gorgeous house, surrounded by lush gardens, on your own pristine white sandy beach. The sense of peace and relaxation I felt there was unmatched by anywhere else I've ever been before; and yet, in just a few minutes I could drive to Cruz Bay and go to any number of amazing restaurants and bars. We also ordered dinner one night from East-West Catering and ate it in the back outside dining area. Talk about a treat - great food, soft breezes, amazing views... I also loved the fact that the beds are super comfortable, and the outside shower off of the Master Bedroom was really fun. I think one of the things I loved most about the house was that I never felt as though I was walking around in a museum by the beach (like some other multi-million beach homes). It's the kind of place that when you walk through the door, you kick your shoes off, fire up the blender in the gourmet kitchen, take your drink, walk out back to the beach (what is it, ten steps away?), pull up a chair, and chill. In the most beautiful place ever, of course. Loved it, loved it, loved it, and I wouldn't want to vacation anywhere else. Why would I? I would highly recommend staying here to anyone!

Can I give Peter Bay more than five Stars??? We have stayed there more than once, and dream of going back as soon as we are able. It is truly the most comfortable vacation home we have ever stayed in and certainly in the best location. Our last visit was during the week of our wedding on St. John, and it was simply perfect. The first couple days of the week we had an additional couple with us as our guests and they still rave about Peter Bay to this day.
If you are looking to disappear from the rat race while relaxing in the lap of luxury, Peter Bay Beach House is the place for you.
