Too short stay for a french family

Left on 03/10/2013 for a stay in July 2011

We spent 2 nights in Picasso Loft in summer 2011 and it was such a moment for the five of us ! Travelling from Washington to Boston by train, we stopped in Phily and find this place for one of the most if you want to discover the town in every way (history, tourism...).
The loft is amazing, gorgeous... my english is not good enough to find all the terms to describe the pleasure of living there !
The owner is the kindest person we met in us. I promised to keep in touch, and many month after this trip, it's always a pleasure to read from her.
The only regret is that we didn't know when we booked, that we'd better have choose to stay longer... but we think of it for another trip, and always talk about the Picasso Loft at our friends.

The Picasso was our first experience in this type of accomodatio

Left on 03/08/2013 for a stay in July 2011

We have just returned from our son's wedding. Six of our family stayed at the loft for a week and it was incredible...the online pictures do not do it justice..it is massive..everything you need to feel at home is there..the appliances are top notch..the views are great and the area is very cool..wish we had more time to visit the local restaurants and clubs..two nights before the wedding we hosted an intimate gathering for a few friends and all were blown away by the space. We are really thankful that we found this online..a hotel would never have suited the occasion..one word of caution..use the parking lot down the street or be very careful about street parking..I got towed and that is not something you need to experience while in Philly. The loft will always remain a favorite part of a very special occasion in our lives..thank you Stacey for creating it...p.s if you think this is over the top..you just need to go there!! Joe & Shirley and family Toronto Canada July 2011

Update March 2013 - almost two year's later and our family and friends still bring up the how perfect the Picasso was for our event. For us, we could have spent the week in a traditional hotel at a much higher cost with none of the benefits of feeling part of a great city in a great area plus you have options...if you want to cook which we did it's all there..if you want to go out just walk down any number of great streets. I encourage anyone who is looking for a unique venue or just a cool place to stay in a city you may not know..trust me you will love it! Stacey is a great host and makes the entire process easy.

      Regards Joe

      Great place for foodies!

Left on 03/06/2013 for a stay in February 2013

We have stayed three times in this roomy, beautiful loft, most recently in February 2013. This is a unique "self-serve" B&B.; All you need for complete and delicious breakfasts is provided, as well as many cooking staples(and good pots and pans, sharp knives!) so that you can prepare your own meals in the big, gourmet kitchen. If you don't want to cook, there are lots of great restaurants in the immediate area. The beds are comfortable, the towels plush, and the loft is sparkling clean. There is real art and fun colorful crafts on the walls - you can tell the owners have decorated carefully to please themselves and are happy to share their space, while keeping their truly personal effects appropriately out of sight. Wonderful location in old city, with fabulous art galleries and funky shops steps away, and many historical and cultural attractions within walking distance. The loft is also close to a main thoroughfare for cabs and public transportation. Stacey is very responsive, gracious and helpful with any details necessary to access the loft and have a great stay.

Our family had an excellent time at the Picasso Loft! This was a unique and striking loft conveniently located close to everything you'd want to do in Philadelphia. Everything was extremely well maintained and all of the arrangements went without a hitch. We would definitely come back!

For any stay in Philadelphia, this is a terrific place to take off from. The eateries that are near are world class, walking to anything is easy. Stacey is the ultimate host, her loft is beautiful and just perfect for two persons or couples to share with the bedrooms being on opposite sides of the huge loft.

      Loved this place!!!

Left on 02/14/2013 for a stay in May 2009

What a great place!! I knew the loft was big when I booked it but I had no idea it was as big as it really was! The bed was super comfortable and the eye masks in the night stands were perfect for blocking out the morning sun. And due to its primo location, we didn't have to rent a car during our stay. We were able to walk or take the rail line everywhere we wanted to go! We had a great time touring the city and hanging out in the loft. Everything - from the location to the ambiance- was fantastic!

My boyfriend and I have stayed at this Loft several times. We enjoyed the area for the night life, restaurants and historic sites. The gourmet kitchen was great to make dinner for friends. You can find everything thing you need at the Reading Terminal Market which is a nice walk from the loft. When you want to go out there are so many great restaurants you can walk to. Fork is one of our favorites.

      Best Girls Weekend Ever!

Left on 01/22/2013 for a stay in May 2010

Wow, what can we say. Spending time in Philly with girlfriends united from five different cities for our reunion was already going to be great, but this loft was the icing on the cake. Our stay here has been amazing from all aspects. The loft itself is amazing and every base was covered. The location is great and we can't think of a better location of a place to stay on our next trip to Philly. We loved lounging on the red couch for long talks to catch up. We loved being centrally located and able to tour the city by foot. We loved being able to hang out and cook in the beautiful kitchen. We would be lucky to stay here again! Thank you for such a great place to stay! We hope to visit again soon!
