This home is 5 minutes away from Charming Chestnut Hill where you find an array of specialty shops, stores and restaurants.It's a five minutes walk (2 blocks) to the Stenton Avenue train station which will take you to Downtown Center City in 20 minutes. Additional notes from owner
To reserve the vacation rental requires 1/2 deposit. Minimum stay is 4 nights@$160 to $175 per night. We do have a 3 day weekend rate for Friday, Saturday and Sunday stay @ $585 Full payment is due 30 days prior to reservation. There is a 1/2 cancellation fee on all reservations. If cancelled within 30 days of reservation, there is no refund.

We were a family of 6 (teenage daughter to grandparent). We stayed over Thanksgiving and were extremely pleased. The home was very comfortable and clean and well-outfitted. Jane, the property manager, lives across the alley and was helpful. Inez, the owner, was very efficient with communication and information and the necessary paperwork. The septa train is close, but we had a rental car so never used the train. It is about a 25-30 minute drive to central Philadelphia (possibly more in morning traffic). I would definitely stay there on a future visit with family and I would highly recommend it to anyone else with similar needs.

We felt very at home at this comfortable property. My flight was delayed twice but they were very accomodating and let my son stay until I arrived. Jane the property manager lives close by and was at hand if we needed her. The house itself is furnished well and the kitchen is well equipped for a family. I managed to make cupcakes with my grandson as promised! Lots of fluffy white bath towels were provided which really made a difference.We had the grandchildren to stay and they really loved it too. We walked to Germantown and Chestnut Hill which have a range of interesting eateries and shops. And there's an acme supermarket also within walking distance. All in all, a lovely and comfortable stay. And just to mention that Inez the owner was very prompt with her responses whenever I emailed her. We will be returning next year!

My brother and I stayed here for a long weekend. It was the perfect location to enjoy Philadelphia, New York and New Jersey. Owner was very responsive and it is in a very nice neighborhood. I loved having coffee on the back deck in the morning. The bedrooms were very comfortable and the kitchen was great for making late night dinners after being out all day. The only thing I would add is a recliner in the living room. The two upright chairs are great for in a dining room, but its hard to get comfortable to watch a little TV.
