lovely, welcoming, well equiped cottage, with excellent garden

We found everything about this cottage good. It has everything you could want, a snug with games in the beautiful garden, & the cottage is warm and comfortable. The owner left a generous welcome gift of wine and chocolates, and the whole place has been furnished with care. It is a few minute walk into Pickering which is a lovely market town, and we found the whole area very dog friendly, including the fish & chip restaurant and great wine bar, both in the high street. Make sure you take the steam train up to Whitby, a great day trip and again dog friendly. We would love to return next year.

Croft Cottage was everything it said it was and more. Welcoming gifts of Wine and Chocolates were an unexpected treat, there was everything needed to make it a home from home experience. The location was near enough to the facilities, the only downside was the weather but the cottage experience made up for that as there was plenty to read and watch. Amost enjoyable week that will certainly be repeated but perhaps at a different time of year.

Everything we could have asked for, ideally situated, with easy access to the coast, the cottage had literally everything one needs, like home from home, even your own bar, with a good will stock of drinks.
The goodies on arrival was a welcome treat.
Well done to the owners. We would definitely recommend.

I have stayed in many holiday cottages in the past and this one has to be the most welcoming one yet. The house was clean and tidy and beautifully presented. Everything that we could possibly need was provided. The owners should be very proud. The location of the cottage was excellent and we all had a very enjoyable holiday. We are definatley keeping croft cottage in mind for a return visit. Would highly recommend a visit here.

The cottage was well set out with all the features you need, the snug with a bar and dartboard is a real bonus down the garden.
Walks from the door step and a beautiful south facing garden made our week. Inbetween walks with the dog we had a trip on the steam train to Whitby and days in the lovely surrounding villages on the moors. There are some excellent restaurants in Pickering and we would recommend the Indian in the main market place, the staff are friendly, food fantastic and all at a very reasonable price. Excleent week in a lovely cottage, we will be booking for next year.

For a small cottage, this was the best equipped and most comfortable cottage we've stayed in. The attention to detail in every respect made for a wonderful stay. Thanks too, for being so accommodating for our two dogs, they thoroughly enjoyed their holiday too.

One of the best holiday cottages that we have stayed in. Everything was thought of. Welcoming gifts of wine and chocolates most thoughtful. It felt like a home from home. Perfect!

We could not fault Croft Cottage, it had everything for our needs even including electric blankets. It was spotless and "goodies" to welcome our arrival. Only a short walk to the centre of Pickering and although off road parking this was not trouble. We have stayed in self catering cottages for over 20 years and this was in the premium league we never return to the same area there is so much of the UK to see but are seriously considering visiting again

The cottage was the best we have rented. It was brilliant - very comfortable, clean, well provisioned and ideally positioned for all NYM activities. The cottage is located in a quiet road with on-street parking outside. It is provisioned with a plethora of entertainment - tv's dvd' games, cards, bar snug with dart board - list is endless. The local tourist office (10 mins walk from the cottage) was very helpful and provided details of pubs/restaurants in the area where dogs are permitted in bar areas.
fabulously cosy and relaxing

A great service from the moment I made my initial
The cottage was a wonderful retreat and was only a
very easy walk in to the centre of the town. Lots of
charm and very comfortable. The garden was an added
area of calm and we loved the decked sitting area -
despite the snow!
Watch out for the outdoor room complete with dart
board - will be great for outside eating and relaxing
in the warmer weather.
