had a wonderful weekend with husband, gorgeous house and extremely comfortable rooms. Chris and Malcolm are friendly welcoming people who have managed to get it perfect. Wonderful rooms, wonderful food and a warm welcome at all times,
A hidden gem, surrounded in beautiful countryside in the perfect location to recharge your batteries. Very tempting to not recommend Wildsmith House to anyone, but it would be selfish to keep this wee secret all to ourselves. -

I have stayed at Wildsmith House 4 times over the last 10 years. It is always my holiday venue of choice in Northern England.The North yorks moors. Whitby, Castle Howard and York are all within easy driving distance. Chris and Malcolm are wonderful hosts and the accomodation is beautifully furnished and spotlessly clean.
Chris cooks a great breakfast using local produce and there are several pub/restaurants nearby where a good evening meal can be enjoyed. I highly recommend this wonderful place set in a tranquil village.
