(Minimum of one week rental required) This luxurious 15th Luxury villa rental near Venice is situated in the center of a quaint village at the foothills of the Dolomites. The villa is a perfect holiday rental for family and friends. Guests will be able to experience a visit to an old world Renaissance villa decorated with new world and luxurious touches.

All living areas are furnished with a mix of modern Italian design and antiques that have belonged to the owner's family for hundreds of years. Spacious rooms with high ceilings and private bathrooms offer comfortable living.

The garden of two acres features an 18 meter swimming p...ool and a secluded seating area under the monumental chestnut tree. During your stay in Villa Selena, you will have available to you within easy reach all the marvelous things that the Veneto region has to offer. The villa is an hour drive from Venice, Padova and Treviso. The area is well known for its food and wine and its mountains offer fantastic walks, bike trails, and ski facilities. Guests enter Villa Selena (2000 sqm) through the imposing entrance hall, decorated with giant swords, the family's battle standard, armature, and statues.

On the ground floor (at the right of the entrance) you will find

a living room with fireplace and two white sofas, a dining room, and fully equipped designer kitchen with a traditional Venetian open fireplace. The kitchen opens up to a newly restored portico and has a view of the rose garden. From the dining room, a door opens into a laundry room equipped with washing machine, dryer, iron and ironing board. On the left of the entrance there is a room with an antique wood table, which gives access to a second living room.

On the first floor is a grand living room with fireplace, large blue sofas, writing desk and chess table. To the left of the living room there are a double bedroom (king bed) with separate bathroom with shower, a double bedroom (king bed) with en-suite bathroom with bath and separate shower. Both bedrooms are decorated with original frescoes dating back to 1823. To the right of the living room there are a TV room with flat screen Satellite TV, CD and DVD player, a master bedroom (2 twin beds) with en-suite bathroom with bath and two separate showers, a double bedroom (2 twin beds)with en-suite bath and separate shower. This bedroom gives access to a double bedroom with en-suite bathroom(queen bed) with bath and separate shower and to a double bedroom (queen bed) with en-suite bathroom with bath.

The remaining empty buildings of the property consists of the old stables and granaries where the silk production of the family's farms used to be dried.

Bedrooms number six and seven (one with queen bed and separate bath, the other with a double bed plus one twin bed) are available on request and at additional cost (high season; USD 1360 each room, low season; USD 910 each room). Internet access (WIFI) available.

Villa Selena is a non smoking villa. Two friendly dogs live in the garden of the property.

Linen changed once a week (pool towels included). Water, gas, electricity included (heating excluded, to be paid on consumption at check-out). Final cleaning included. A private cook and housekeeper can make sure that you will never be left wanting. Daily maid service and preparation breakfast as well as another meal are included in the price for 8 hours a day, 6 days a week. Laundry service can be arranged.

Located among Padova, Treviso and Venezia, in the Veneto region (north east Italy), the area is a perfect choice for an unforgettable holiday. Historical monuments and beautiful scenery, medieval walled towns and Palladian villas blend

into the magic landscape. Special tours can be arranged to see the beautiful Villa Valmarana ai Nani(Vicenza), world famous for its Tiepolo frescoes.
