We enjoyed our recent stay at The Gift. The Gift is in the perfect location for getting around Pigeon Forge, and only a short drive to Gatlinburg and Cades Cove. The Gift is decorated very nice, upscale, and with obvious TLC. For sure, we also enjoyed the Christmas decorations throughout...let me count...at least 3 Christmas trees plus many other holiday touches. Def the place to stay in Pigeon Forge!

This was our 1st time staying in a cabin, and it won't be our last! It was like living in your own home with all the necessities provided but clean and everything in its place. The hot tub was nice and hot and the dining area on the back porch was a nice touch. We enjoyed the decor, and the bed was very comfortable. I could have stayed a week!

Our combination of business planning and vacation with the wives (strange, I know) could not have picked a better place for the four of us. The cabin was roomy, beautiful, comfortable and well appointed. The Internet connection was lighting fast and never missed a beat. By the way, the owners of this cabin are extremely sweet and that makes a big difference in who gets my business.
Our only regret was we did not plan a longer stay! -

The most fantastic cabin we have vacationed in so far! So accommodating for our family. The location and parking was perfect for us. We booked already for next year! The three levels allowed our family to go in a choice of directions. We took advantage of all the home entertainment...pool table, hot tub, television in every room, and just enjoyed swinging on the screen porch! When we did tear ourselves away, we were conviently located near great shopping venues, entertainment, and endless restaurant choices. We enjoyed the atmosphere of being free from the hustle and bustle of our everyday life, while enjoying the great amenities provided in this beautiful mountain cabin. I love spending time together with my family and this home provided so much fun, laughter, and rest for us. Can't wait to go back. "The Gift" was the best gift we gave ourselves!

This was by far one of the best cabins I've ever stayed in.I have been staying in cabins since my husband and I got married 21 years ago. This cabin was wonderful. This cabin gave me such peace and a warm feeling as if I was at my home. The cabin is decorated great and we also had privacy. We loved everything about this cabin. The owner is great to work with. I just love Cindy!

The Gift was absolutely perfect for our class of 96 girls' mini-reunion weekend. We went last year and everyone enjoyed it so much we decided to return again this year. This cabin is perfect because it has sleeping arrangements and bathrooms on every level, so everyone gets their own area for sleeping and getting dressed. The common areas are large and spacious, perfect for chatting, eating, relaxing, and visiting! We also thoroughly enjoyed the outside areas, especially the screened in porches and hot tub.
The location is great for shopping, restaurants, and other attractions. Definitely recommend this cabin whether you are going to relax, shop, or be a tourist! It's perfect for any occasion!Response from Blacklab Property,LLC - 05/31/2011

This is the second home that we have stayed in that is owned by Black Lab Properties. It was course was extremely nice as always. This property is huge, plenty of room with everthing you need. The kitchen is stocked with everything you can think of. Cleaniness is one of my big things and you have no worries here because it is super clean and neat. The beds are great feels like your in a 5star hotel. Do not hesitate to rent from owner on this one because they are great.

We enjoyed the comforts the cabin had to offer. The teenagers even enjoyed staying in the cabin with the adults. The boys are ready to go again. There was easy access to shopping, dining, and fun activities for the entire family.

Beautiful cabin! Modern decor, amenitites for all ages, spacious bedrooms and living areas. The new hot tub was most enjoyed by my sister and I after a day of driving and the screened in porch was perfect for morning coffee talk!

Staying at "The Gift" is pure heaven! This was my second time staying at this cabin and my family's first. The cabin is furnished beautifully and has the most wonderful kitchen. The bedrooms are furnished to the nine and have the most comfortable beds and beautiful bedding. The downstairs is private if you want to have some quiet time. We absolutely love this cabin. The location is great and you couldn't ask for more. The only "downside"............you won't want to leave. We had to drag ourselves out of the cabin on the day of departure. However, we look forward to returning soon.

I have recently stayed at The Gift, a cabin located in Pigeon Forge, TN. It was beautifully decorated with all updated appliances and furnishings. I especailly loved the granite couter tops and stainless steel appliances. I also enjoyed the hot tub and pool table. Blacklab Property, LLC was also very accomadating for the entirety of our stay.
It is conviently located near many dining and shopping choices for your stay. I would highly recommend the cute little coffee shop located at the bottom of the hill.
I very much enjoyed my stay at The Gift and will definitely stay there the next time I go to Pigeon Forge. -

Our stay at "The Gift" was a wonderful experience. The cabin was perfect; beautifully decorated, clean, equipped with all the essentials plus loads of extras, and spacious enough for a large family or group of friends. The location was desirable as well. While at the cabin we enjoyed our privacy and the majestic mountain scenery, but with a short drive multiple restaurants and shopping venues were easily accessible.
I would eagerly return for another relaxing weekend at this cabin and would not hesitate to recommend staying here to all my friends and family. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and readily understand why the cabin is so appropriately named "The Gift". -

“The Gift” is such an appropriate name for this cabin as the time that our family spent together was truly a gift.
We really enjoyed reading the book of visitors. It was interesting to see where all of your visitors were from and how there time was spent at "The Gift"
As we wrote in the book, we are a blended family. My husband and I both had mates who have passed away and we remarried three years ago. Between the two of us, we have 7 grown children. We had Christmas with some of the children the weekend before Christmas. We met at the cabin on Thursday evening….On Friday morning, we gave the children money to shop. My husband and the guys went one direction (Knife Works, Bass Pro Show and the guys stores).....me and the girls went another direction. In the evening everyone shared what they had purchased with there money.
In the mornings I would fix a big breakfast. We were usually so full that we didn’t end up eating lunch and then we would eat an early dinner out. We would play Rook in the evenings. We were there from Thursday to Sunday and the TV was never on……we just spent quality family time.
The location of "The Gift" is perfect. You are away from the hussle and bussle to relax, yet close enough to get to resturants, Dollywood, Dixie Stampede and many other attractions in a very short time.
The Gift is decorated in a manner that is beautiful, yet very comfortable. Clean towels were delivered to our cabin each day and the trash picked up. From making reservations online to check out, I will have to say our whole experiece was every easy.
Our time at the gift was memories that we will cherish for a lifetime.

Our group of 6 had a wonderful stay-3 floors, 3 bedrooms & 3 baths.The cabin was perfectly spotless. We want to reserve for next year --it was perfect for us. The malls were close by and the men had a pool table (although, they wish it was regulation size),but it didn't stop them from the game. We did have a problem with the lower level lavatory and had to plunge it--and we did have some complaints about the wireless connection.

This was a family vacation that was much needed! We had our children and our grandchildren and we enjoyed every moment together. The chalet was absolutely beautiful and exceeded our expectations. It was very clean and the kitchen was stocked completely. The only problem was had was with the dishwasher, but we reported it and they had someone there within the hour to repair it and we never had any more problems with it. The location was excellent. We wanted to be close to shopping areas but far enough from the hustle and bustle of the city life and it was perfect. I would have to say our favorite time was at night when the family would gather around the fireplace and just spend time together thanking the Lord for all our blessings. Our least favorite time would have to be when it was time to leave. Thank you so much for this wonderful experience. We are already planning next years trip in October 2010 and hope to make this an annual event. God Bless you and your wonderful staff.

Upon arrival we were amazed on how welcoming this cabin was. WE have stayed at several different cabins. This one was decorated so nice, nothing was forgotten. The kitchen was nice and large for cooking and family gatherings. The beds were very comfortable as well. We enjoyed the game table in the basement next to the fireplace. I would highly recommend staying at this cabin again.

This cabin was outstanding. Beautifully decorated and very comfortable. We culd have stayed there for our entire stay in the mountains without ever going out to see the sights. We will definately stay there again.
