We have stayed in many cabins and even rented them through Cabin Fever before. This cabin is roomy and has a great mountain feel. It is really close to the parkway and very convenient to everything. There are some downsides, one is lighting, I know this may sound trivial but the kitchen and dining area have very little light. The table in the dining room is sort of make shift where it has been made smaller to fit. The beds are the worst part of all, not one of the three couples that went with us got any sleep on the beds. They are hard and not for those with back problems. After a week of staying there I had back problems. Also, you may want to bring your own towels the ones provided are very thin and harsh. We will not rent this cabin again but we will use Cabin Fever, we did not have any issues with the management company. Also, the theater room and video games where great and they worked for us the entire time without issue. Wasn't the worst vacation stay but we won't repeat here. Read more
Thank you for choosing Cabin Fever Vacations to provide you with luxury cabin accommodations on your visits to the Great Smoky Mountains.
We apologize the bedding was too firm for your bodies to rest comfortably. The cabins do have mattresses with varying degrees of firmness. Different people prefer or require different firmness for their sleep. This particular cabin owner has chosen firm mattresses but we did have our staff confirm that they are in good condition. We will pass your concerns over the lighting on to the cabin owner.
We are glad the other cabins in your previous stays were better suited to your comfort preferences.
We look forward to having you with us on future visits to The Great Smoky Mountains.
Fun for all

True cabin atmosphere. Rustic elegance. Kids loved the games and theater downstairs while adults relaxed in great room or went shopping just 1 mile away from parkway.
We'll do it all over again!

Loved it from start to finish> Couldn't ask for anything more. The pots and pans were a little sub par but was not a huge issue as we spent more time playing than cooking.

Well we originally had the cabin booked for 3 days but we had so much fun we rebooked it for 3 more. The kids absolutely loved the arcade games, PS3, and the Home theatre system they have. This is a great place for the whole family. I most definitely recommend this cabin.
great cabin, but smaller than appears, on steep hills!

The cabin is cute itself, but the front windows needed to be desperately washed. We asked for something in town that was easily accessible (with no steep grade hills) as we were traveling in Dec & know how unpredictable the weather is. This house is at the bottom of a very steep hill and steep hills entering the subdivision also. I feel the mgt. co totally disregarded what we were looking for. They also told us it was completely private. It is in a subdivision with houses all around. The first night was freezing as the heater had to be fixed & it took about 8 hours to get warm again. The theatre TV did not work for 24 hours, the playstation never worked during our 8 night stay. The house is decorated nicely, but the upstairs bed is like sleeping on boards. We met a lot of nice people staying in the subdivision and that made a world of difference. We lease vacation houses 4-6 times a year and I would rate this house a 7 out of a 10. Our complaints are more with what the management company promised us, than the house itself!

Wish we could have stayed longer.

The cabin was great. We had problems with the movie theatre system. No matter how exactly we followed the directions on the wall we couldn't get any of our dvds to play. We finally got the cable tv to come on but we would have liked to watch a movie. The only other complaint was there was no hand soap in any of the bathroom dispensers or the kitchen. We like to wash our hands with soap after we go to the restroom. We used our shampoo.

This cabin had a great layout and plenty of room for a large family. The location was great because it sat at the bottom of a quiet cudesac which was great for the kids to play. The ameneties were great from plenty of dishes, silverware and pots and pans in the kitchen, towels for several days in the bathrooms, down to popcorn for the popcorn machine in the theater!! We had such a great and relaxing time at the Wilderness Theater and Lodge we are already planning for the next trip!!!
