      Hidden Hideaway decorated beautifully

Left on 05/24/2013 for a stay in May 2013

We Stayed at Hidden Hideaway in the hills of Pigeon Forge. The cabin is decorated beautifully, the king beds have very comfy mattresses, and the jacuzzi tub in the upstairs room sits two adults just fine. The kids enjoyed the hot tub every day and we enjoyed the cabin very much.
There were a few things on the negative side and they are:
      1. They have a small size pool table and the area it is in is way too small but we played anyway with some frustration.
      2. The hot water heater isn't big enough for both jacuzzi tubs and showers without considerable refresh time.
      3. We didn't use it but the grill needs some TLC and there is some poison ivy growing on the backside of the deck. Both easily fixed.

All that being said it is far enough off the main strip that you forget you are in the heart of Pigeon Forge. We had a very nice time at the cabin even with the few negatives listed above and we had a great time in the Smokey Mountains and would gladly stay here again.

Mostly Great - Several Small Things Wrong

Left on 04/12/2013 for a stay in March 2013

I stayed at Hidden Hideaway on March 25 & 26, 2013. Overall the cabin was great. The furnighings were great. The layout was great, except that there is really not enough room to play pool. I liked that it had a jacuzzi tub in each of the large bedrooms. However, I discovered some small things that were wrong. The grill appeared to be unusable. The railing on the deck was not secure in places. There ants coming out of the downstairs bathroom sink. I did prevent any further ants by closing the drain. There was not light in one of the bedrooms. This did not particularly concern me, since I was not using that bedroom. The fireplace is gas and had to be manually started, as opposed to turning on the switch. Several lamps had no bulbs in them.

The servfice was very good, we had a problem with the TV and service came promptly to try and fix the problem. They also delivered extra blankets that we asked for. The cabin was decorated beautifully and was well equiped with what we needed. The location was good, it was close to everything. I liked everything about this cabin.

Check in was fast and easy.Staff very polite and friendly, made you feel at home.Cabin was very clean, decor was inviting and very upscale. Location is the best. We don't like staying anywhere else. You are just mins from the main strip. The pool area and outdoor kitchen was clean, very well maintained. Tell all my friends and family ( who come to pigeon forge on reg basis) to rent cabin from amazing View of Smokies.Best price for accomodations and quality service. See ya'll in few months. God Bless

Nice Cabin, too far removed from the action but not isolated

Left on 07/27/2011 for a stay in July 2011

Cabin was nice, could use some general maintenance. Gas grill needs replaced. Cabin was in a developement, so no privacy, but not close to any of the action. Cabin was clean. Pool table was not full size, should be noted in write up

      Hidden Hideaway a pleasant surprise

Left on 07/13/2011 for a stay in July 2011

We didn't know what to expect when booking this cabin in Pigeon Forge. When arriving in town our expectations were lowered due to the heavy traffic and commercial aspect of the highway through town. We were pleasantly surprised that the cabin was beautiful, clean and well maintained, and in a very quiet area in the hills above town. One problem (maybe the only one), is that the hot tub cover was very heavy and difficult to remove. Everything else was great. We were very happy with our stay and will consider booking again in the future.
