I was sadly disappointed when we stayed at the cabin. I was unaware that the trash collection site was just down the street and the smell was horrible. I was also disapointed that no washer and dryer existed at the cabin, as mentioned when talking about linens in the pre-arrival paperwork. The fire place was also not able to be turned on. Those were among many of the problems. I would never stay with the cabin service again.

We absolutely loved our cabin and our stay. It was secluded yet close enough to everything we wanted to do. It was the perfect place and we had the best weekend ever!

We were very happy with our stay. The cabin was clean and check in was a breeze. We had to call on one issue but it was dealt with quickly and professionally. The location was great. You felt like you were out in the sticks but were in reality, it was a few minutes from everything. We had a great honeymoon, and the cabin was just a perfect little love nest for us. We will definatly rent from these folks again. If not this cabin another one. I can't recommend them enough for a cabin in Pigeon Forge. Hotels are for the birds.

We had such a wonderful time at Bear Necessities! The cabin is extremely nice and comfortable. It was also very clean and located only five minutes from town. The staff were all very professional and helpful. I would definitely recommend this cabin!

Everything was as described on the website except the hot tub was bigger than the picture showed which was a pleasant surprise. The deck was very private and quiet, the cabin clean and very nice. Everything was terrific except for the cabin's proximity to a nearby solid waste compost facility. The smell was an issue on the still mornings and evenings which made sitting outside very unpleasant. I would definitely rent from Elk Springs again but I would probably choose a different cabin because of the smell.
