Cabin Fever Getaway Needs a lot of work. The shower in the lower level doesn't work, the lower level bathroom sink stopper doesn't work, the kitchen blinds are broken, an electrical plug in the upper level bedroom is loose, we had trouble with all the TVs, one TV in the lower level bedroom we never got to work. this complex has very limited parking.

This stay was not as good as my last with the exception what I told you was broke last time is still broke. Two sets of numbers very confusing. Place this time was not clean and one of our party refused to stay.

I was so disappointed in the location as there was nothing on the website to indicate or even imply this was a condo on a very busy road. I also did not realize there were three floors and my husband who has had 3 bypass surgeries cannot climb steps very easily. However, we made the best of it, had the best seat in town for nightly fireworks, and really ended up having a good time. I felt like I had been mislead by the website, but have learned to pick up the phone and ask the right questions. It is an awesome place if that was what you were expecting!
We paid for our rental unit before arriving for our vacation, and upon check-in, we were surprised with a $200 holding fee in case of damages and were told it would be returned after check-out if property was not damaged. We did no damage in fact we tried to help housekeepers by washing all linens before we left however it is a week later and we still have not received our refund! We also thought we would be more secluded not sleeping with a busy road behind our unit. We asked about WIFI service and was told they did carry it in our cabin but when we got there, no service. We called to complain and was told it must be something we were doing wrong! We spoke with others within the complex and wasn't surprised when they expressed the same problems. I might also add that out unit had several wasp nests and when reporting it to a maintenance man was told I had to call the office ( of course it was after office hours) Poorly represented and poorly handled in my opinion. Will think twice about renting online again and definitely will not return to aunt bugs!
Cabin was outdated and a little dirty. Sink had a leak that had a bucket under it and we didn't know so it overflowed and we had to clean it. Showers both had loose handles. Needs more pots and pans only had 1. Grill was disgusting and didn't work and was filthy and old. Various sheets and blankets had stains. Some doors didn't open/close very well. Won't be coming back.
They could have been a little more up to speed when we couldn't get into our cabin, our key code didn't work and we had to wait on the maintenance guy for over an 1 1/2 to 2 hrs, with 3 cranky kids. Other than that our stay was great!!!!
The kids want to come back!!!
