Sunset View is a luxury Honeymoon & Family vacation Chalet in a private & gated mountain community !
The large master bedroom has a king-size bed with gas fireplace. A 32" HDTV flat screen with DVD above. The custom decor and fabrics are as colorful as the magnificent sunsets or seasonal colors that you'll see from the screened seating room with hot tub. The master bedroom has a jetted spa tub with seperate shower and double sinks. The chalet has a tankless water heater so your will never run out of hot water.

We were looking to get married in TN and when I saw the pictures I knew that I didn't need to look no farther. Sunset View was the perfect place with the backdrop of the Smokey Mountains to say our "I Do's. Dave was fantastic to work with and he was so understanding when I botched the arrival date. He contacted the housekeeper and allowed us to get in early so that we could get ready in time before the minister arrived. The chalet offers so much more than the knotty pine cabins that abound in the area. The decor is beautiful not to mention the screened porch which holds the hot tub as well as offering a pool table and not one but two out door sitting areas. Thank you Dave and Susan for sharing your beautiful chalet with us!

Wow, wow, wow!!  I just can't say enough about my experience at Sunset View!  Despite booking it kind of last minute, I had a hassle-free experience dealing with Dave.  He was very helpful and professional.  He was quick to respond to inquires via email and phone.  I booked it for a three night stay in June with my wife and two children (6 and 11).  When we arrived, I don't know which of us was more thrilled!  We were met by an absolutely charming mountain home!  It was just perfect!  It is tastefully decorated, well kept and comfortable.  You can clearly tell the owners, Dave and Susan, take great pride in maintaining it and graciously sharing it with their guests!  The pool table, fire place, hot tub and gas grill were all great amenities, but the little extras like the DVD library, books, video and board games, really let us know that Dave and Susan want there to be something for everyone.  I guess it really depends on what you're looking for in your Pigeon Forge accommodations, but if it's someplace slightly off the beaten path (15-20 minutes to area attractions), with all the comforts of home...and then some, set in beautiful natural surroundings with stunning mountain views, you should really consider giving this place a try!  It's also very reasonably priced compared to similar properties in the area and, in my opinion, a much better value then staying in a hotel.  Never have I looked so forward to a few days off and had all my expectations met then when my family and I stayed at Sunset View!  Thank you for a great getaway!!  We  can't wait to book with you again!!

Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful mountain home with us! It was everything we hoped for and more! We kept commenting that we could not believe how relaxed we were on this trip, and that we felt like we had been away for a month instead of a week. We hope your chalet will be available for our next trip to Tennessee. We loved waking up every morning by the gobbling of the four turkeys that decided we needed an alarm clock from nature, what a delight to share the morning with them videotaping them "talking" to us! As recent empty nesters, my husband and I decided to spend Christmas differently this year. Sunset View was just what we needed. The owners made it very easy to book and communication was simple and effective. We arrived at night and the home is fairly remote, so its important to follow the directions provided, but we also found it necessary to stop and ask. After that we found it with no problem, but the road is gravel, and very steep- so a bit of caution may be needed there. What a treat to have the Christmas lights to greet us! We were so pleased that, as all the other reviewes noted, the chalet is very clean. This is not a little cabin- it is a real home, and we felt right at home. The kitchen is fully equipped and all you need to bring is your food and toiletries. We had such a nice Christmas day by the fireplace. We highly recommend Sunset View.

This cabin really made our vacation perfect, we have been to the Smokies numerous times, but we both agreed this was our best visit yet. The bed was so comfortable I had no problem sleeping, which is rare for me, even at home. I loved the gated community, and the view from the cabin, even if I could do without the last hill after the private residence. Do not hesitate to rent this property from Dave and Susan, you will not be disappointed. If you have the time I would highly recommend driving over to Catalochee Valley in N.C. where we saw several elk, it was just beautiful.

Yes Susan & I also have the best sleep. We think it may be the mattress or something to do with the aura of being in our mountain chalet. We are working on the hill but when you see the chalet at the paved drive its worth it.

My husband and two kids (10 and 13) stood here from aug. 12- Aug.20. Upon opening the door we felt at home. It was clean, nicely decorated and very comfortable. The community pool was (small) but clean. This is a gated community and the security here were very nice and helpful.

The Sunset View is such a warm and inviting home. You could tell the minute you walk in through the front door that this home is truly an owners pride and joy. The home is very comfortable and roomy. There were 5 of us in the home and there was plenty of room to relax and take in the beautiful mountain views. The views from the front deck are spectular! We enjoyed having our morning coffee on the patio. This home has everything that you need to make your vacation worry free. We can't wait to book a week again this spring.

This was our 4th visit to Sunset View chalet. The chalet itself is fabulous - a beautiful, cozy chalet up in the mountains with all the amenities you could want, inside and out. Absolutely the perfect getaway. There is so much to see and do in Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg, but the highlight for us is always coming back to the chalet. Spectacular views, all the comforts of home, what more could you want? We have gone the last 4 years in a row and look forward to it again this year. If you're planning a trip to the Smoky Mountains, this is where you want to stay...unless it's the week we want to be there!

Hi Dave & Susan, We enjoyed our stay at the chalet! We loved the decor, and the kids enjoyed the playstation, pool table and hot tub. Everything we needed was there so there was no need to leave just relax. The pictures do not do this place justice, the views were amazing! The chalet was spotless not even a speck of dust, I felt at home while we were there. We will definitely be coming back for more! We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay or a nicer couple to rent from. Dave & Susan you guys are wonderful people and feel like family to us! Dave and his wife Susan are fastidious about the interiors of their chalet! It is awesome! We loved the peace, serenity and solitude of this elegant yet very comfortable vacation home. Once you get there you don't want to leave. Everything is provided for your vacation. If you truly want to feel special and well taken care of rent this cabin.
