Having stayed with Parkside on several prior occasions, I expect the very best when I arrive at one their cabins in the Parkside Resort. This trip was no exception. The cabin was exactly as described on their website. It was clean and comfortable, with a fantastic view of the mountains from the deck. We used the firepit on the deck one night to add to the ambiance of the early evening. Although there was construction going on down the street from our cabin, the managers restrict the hours of the construction crews and didn't allow them to work on the weekends at all. We were not aware of the construction unless we left the cabin and drove past where they were working. We are very frequent visitors to the Smokies and have never considered owning a cabin, but Parkside Resort is beginning to make this position harder to maintain. We love the resort almost as much as we love the mountains

Would strongly recommend this cabin to anyone who is looking for a quiet getaway to escape the city life and enjoy the nature. The staff was extremely welcoming and nice to us. :-)

We truly enjoyed our stay at Sleepy Shamrock. The cabin was in immaculate condition and very clean. It had all of the amenities of home. The view was remarkable and it was nice and quiet. My kids really enjoyed the theater room. The staff were especially friendly and helpful. We will definitely be returning (hopefully sooner than later).

We had a wonderful vacation here - stayed for 10 days and it sure was hard to leave on our last day. Good location - close to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. (Tip: plan to stay 'at home' in the cabin on Saturdays if you can - traffic is crazy in Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg on that day.)
Views were beautiful and the place totally lived up to all that was promised on the web site. Beds were comfy, cabin very clean and had all the amenities including a theatre room! We really enjoyed the barbecue on the deck just steps from the kitchen.
My only 2 minor concerns: coffee maker needs a new filter (was moldy) and the bears were getting into the garbage at night. (Which actually was kind of cool since we got to see bears from the safety of our cabin :)). We let mgmt know and they are planning to fix the bear/garbage issue.
We absolutely loved it here and will definitely be back! -

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the Sleepy Shamrock. We were in need of a vacation and the cabin was the perfect size, and we loved the location. The staff at the office was more than helpful on more than one occasion. Definitely would stay again!

The picture do not do this place justice! I expected it to be nice, but I was blown away at the quality of the cabin/house. It was very, very clean everything looked brand new. It was the most relaxing vacation I have ever had. I owe it to the sleepy shamrock and Parkside Resort! We hiked the trail on the resort to the top and wow what a view! I seriously can't say enough nice things about our stay, it was fantastic. My son is 4 years old and he had a blast in the entertainment room and learning how to play pool with his dad. The downstairs bedroom was very private and I slept like a baby. If you are considering one of the other larger resorts, I would recommend Parkside for the privacy and excellent location. We can't wait to come back next year :)
