Great stay for Spring Break. I have to say this was the best stocked cabin I've ever stayed in. I'm talking from blankets, pillows, kitchen items, and even board games as well as movies. The cabin nestled high and away from all the hustle bustle but not too far away. We have teenagers so I have to say the scary movie collection was a plus at night:)

We highly recommend staying at this cabin. It offers great views and privacy.
The cardinal that visited every morning and night by tapping on the sliding glass door kepted us entertained.
Overall, a very clean, well kept cabin with nice amenities and views! -

We arrived, unpacked and, after oohing and ahing at all the scenery, we went to eat supper and visit the grocery. Arriving back at the cabin, we unloaded and started our rest part of the R and R Hideaway. The next morning we slept til around 10 am. We never sleep that long. I had heard a knocking earlier but ignored it and went back to sleep. After reading the cabin journal, I realized that our "wake-up" redbird had been there. He was there every morning we were. The loud thunderous storm we had on Thursday afternoon was thrilling to see. The lightning and thunder seemed closer because of being up on the mountain. I especially loved the tall windows that overlooked the valley below. It was so wonderful to sit inside and look out at all that beauty. The cabin was beautiful!! I loved the decor, the layout and all the amenities. We opted to use the upstairs bedroom so we could look out our windows. But we had all the things that we needed. I definitely would like to stay there again. The one drawback was coming back at night. Our vehicle is an Explorer and it was hard to see where the road was when you came to the turns and dips and rises. We learned real quickly to come home before dark!! Thanks for allowing us to use the R and R Hideaway. We did just that Rested and Relaxed!

we had a great time while visiting the smoky mountains!!!...can't wait to go back again...hopefully this fall!!!...loved everything about the r & r hideaway!!!...took a lot of pictures!!!...just wish we could have stayed longer!!!...shaye garrett

Patriot was great, got a early check in! Arived very tired to one of the best views ive ever seen from a cabin in TN. Ive been coming since i was a kid with my mom and dad and on this trip i brought my Dad. The amenitys were great,everything you need is in this cabin. From the pictures on the wall to the relaxing hot tub on the deck makes you feel right at home.There is a little red bird that woke us up every morning at 6:45 on the dot by pecking the window. That was really cool. There is a book at this cabin that people sighn and write in about there stay and this little red bird has been stoping by checking on the familys that are blessed enough to stay at this great piece of heaven. The ride to the cabin is so beautiful! Patriot getaways was very helpful in helping me make my decision on what cabin to stay at. If your looking for a quiet very private cabin with a awsome view. This is the cabin for you! Thanks again patriot, and we will be back! God Bless
