my husband and i spent the weekend as always the cabins with patriot was very nice comfortable great view and also the locaion was great not very far from all the attractions we loved our weekend..

My husband and I love the area and try to visit as much as possible. We stayed in this cabin for the first time and very much liked the cabin and location. It was very close to all the area attractions. Would definitely stay there again.

We recently stayed at Bear Heaven, everything was great, clean, everything in working order. so close to town, don't even need to use main road to run to grocery store, very conveinent. Our visit from two racoons every nite was wonderful. We will continue to rent from american patriots an also recommend to friends.

The place was just like the pictures. Nice and clean which is a must. Had everything you really needed. Close to town but felt like you were right in the mountains. We really enjoyed our stay there and after a long day of touring the town and mountains you could come back and relax in the hot tub :) I would definetly stay there again!!

Cabin was good and clean,there was a small leak in bedroom which caused a wet area in carpet and entry is quite a bit slippery. Overall good value, loved the amenities.

We stayed at bear heaven in Novemeber 2011 for our 8th wedding anniversary. It was so cute,just adorable. Everything was as discribed. My husband and I love playing pool, sitting on the deck with a cup of coffee in the morning and the hot tub in the evening was heavenly. I highly receommend aPG and will be using them in the future. It was just what the Dr ordered. My only negative was you are very close to 2 other cabins but only one was full during our stay and we never saw anyone else. If you are looking for a cabin not far off the beaten path (not long winding road) but perfect for a couple. This one is it. We loved it.

The cabin was close to shopping in Pigeon Forge, no treacherous roads. I was slightly disappointed in the view (mostly trees) and the size of televisions (tiny) and poor sound. Overall it was an OK cabin with need for some updating.

I must admit I was expecting more privacy with this cabin. It is in the heart of a neighborhood, where is you sat on the deck you could hear the Dollywood train whistle. Cabin was very nice but must admit I felt the whole experience of Pigeon Forge to be too "commercialize". We are used to the other side of the mountain: Maggie Valley NC where it's peaceful and quiet. If you want family fun go to Pigeon Forge, if you want serentity go to Maggie, just 103 turns up the mountain from Cherokee.

This was our second stay in Bear Heaven & we had a wonderful time. We will definately be using patriot getaways again in the future but next time we will try a different cabin.
