A beautiful cabin with lots of open windows to take in the mountain view. An outside deck both downstairs and upstairs offers plenty of space for sitting in the rocking chairs and taking in the mountain air. The double sided fireplace could be enjoyed from the living room or master bedroom. The upstairs loft is open with the pool table and air hockey table along with the second bed. So not a lot of privacy if that is important. If privacy is not an issue, then it's not a problem. The buttons on the hottub had been damaged earlier (plastic cover broken) but still worked. The door going out to the deck did not latch unless the deadbolt was turned. These were minor maintenance issues that I did not bother to report. Also the parking in the driveway is tight as it is right up against the cabin. Having said that, Am Patriot Getaways has always been completely hassle free. I've used them at least 3 times to book a cabin and already have another reservation made with them. I highly recommend.

as always a a wonderful cabin and overall experience will never use another rental company when staying in the area. Very clean and enjoyable cabin, view was breathtaking.

The view was awesome!! The cabin was very clean, even smelled good when we walked in. If you like firm beds, choose the one down stairs. If you like soft beds, choose the one up stairs. The cabin has two air handlers, for upstairs/downstairs. Also, ceiling fans. The cabin had dish soap, salt pepper, bath soap, and toilet paper. The water in the jacuzzi was clean. The air hockey table worked, enjoyed this a lot. Also, enjoyed the pool table and gas fireplace. Both bathrooms have pedestal sinks with no counter space, would recommend a shelf or some sort of counter space for bathroom items. There are other cabins in proximity, however, only one next door. The road going up is fine, wide enough for two cars to pass. The parking at the cabin is tight. The directions to the cabin were perfect. The location was great, peaceful but close to everything.
Between lights 7 and 8 is a grocery store, " Food City". Very reasonable and they have everything. Pick up a "Passport coupon book" ***has bear on front** . It has a map inside that you can use to get around town without using the main drag. We used Teaster Lane, alot. We visited the aquarium in Gatlinburg, and the Hatfield and McCoy dinner show. Would recommend these.

When we arrived way up in the mountains the view was fantastic. My children 3 & 7 loved the cabin & the wild life (ratcoons) that came along with it. When we arrived there were a few issues...the air hockey table was well used & the pool table pockets had holes causing the balls to fall out. The maintenance dept. was called & he was extemely responsive & super friendly. They fixed the pool table & it was great & did the best they could to fix the air hockey but just the wear & tear it kept turning off & on & was a little disappointing. Cabin was clean. Parking is a bit hard. I wish also the cabin had things like salt & pepper & dish soap. My kids said overall they would rather come to the smokies than the beach

We had a great time at the cabin. It was very clean and met all our needs. My family enjoyed the pool table and the views were spectacular. We watched a very well fed coon break into trash cans down the hillside from us. Enjoyed watching his escapades. I would definitely rent this cabin again. Thank you so much for sharing it with my family.

We visited april 25th for our 3rd wedding anniversary. It was the most relaxing thing we have done. Totally great place, perfect location, privacy, and the breathtaking views! Couldn't have imagined it any better. Will definitely return ! Thank you for helping us make great memories !

This chalet had an amazing view!! It was very nice and we got it a a real incredible deal. A couple of things I didn't like about it is that it had cracks in the cabin and bees where getting inside (which we are terrified of bees), the road is in horrible condition and is only 1 car wide, and the customer service for this cabin knew we were their for our honeymoon and didn't mention anything about putting roses or anything romantic anywhere (I would have paid for it). I liked the chalet, very high in the sky, hanging off of a mountain but I don't think I would stay in this particular one again. The air hockey table was also broken. Overall, the experience was good, awesome view!!

The pool table had stains and the matress was pretty old. The jaccuzzi had "Stuff" Floating in it and had not been cleaned. The cabin is nice but the tennents had no respect and the cleaning crew should be fired.

My family and I stayed in Stars and Stripes for Christmas 2010. Although the views were awesome, the cabin lacked enough dishes in the kitchen. It could use more of everything. The pool table was torn and the hockey game didn't work. It was also very close to the cabin next to us so parking was an issue. For the price I guess I expected the furnishings to be better.
