We had a family reunion at the beach. It was a great week. The home was comfortable even with 4 families and a number of young children. The home and yard allowed us to be together but still not feel too close! All of the amentities were great!

This house has a perfect lot and garden for an outdoor party or wedding. The lighting in the trees and shrubs made the outdoor space truely magical at night! The decks and porch were great for entertaining. However, be aware that for a wedding or party, that there is no parking on Knollwood Drive so there are only about 6 spaces for cars at the house. Finding this out at the 11th hour caused us to have to incur additional expenses for a shuttle from a nearby hotel!
The only drawback to this house is that the kitchen is on the top floor - be prepared to go up and down stairs alot! Despite the location, the kitchen is very well appointed with everything we needed for entertaining. We wished, however, that there had been less personal things like candles, pictures, objects d'art, etc. on all of the surfaces in the living areas. And, while the house was clean, it is a little tired and could use some paint, new rugs, spackling and an overall update. One of the beds was missing it's comforter and we had to call to the office twice to get blankets for all of the beds. Wonderfully large family room and kitchen area. Grandson is a chef and enjoyed the Viking range. Were 12 of us and there was abundant deck space also. Grounds were manicured and lovley. Long walk to ocean but wooden walkway was a plus.Nice quiet neighborhood with almost no traffic.Would not hesitate to rent it again.

The house was well equipped with plenty of sitting areas for our family. We especially enjoyed the numerous outdoor spaces.
