"If you really want to break from the stress of modern life and experience a vacation like a real inhabitant of a medieval village in Tuscany….join us! The community is small but very cozy, people greet you when you are walking and I am always available to give advice historical and information, you'll have a chat with the lady at the bar or the butcher with farmers and hunters. In the village there is a small restaurant where the food is good, another is opened in the summer in the chestnut three out of the village. Romans and Etruscan archaeological sites are at few steps, the thermal waters are indeed a little 'everywhere even in the washroom of a country flowing water at 38 degrees. We are in a natural park and in most European geothermal center, the sea is a few kilometers as well as many castles, countries such as Volterra and San Galgano, San Gimignno, Siena, Florence are a simple and beautiful excursion "

Just returned from this property. House situated in the most scenic little village you could imagine. The house is very well appointed with a small but very well equiped kitchen, sitting room with a small balcony off overlooking a valley below really spectacular views. Two full bathrooms, one upstairs one downstairs, and two sizable double bedrooms. A little present on arrival from the owner of a bottle of local wine and some risotto.
The village of Pisano is quite beautiful and the house is less than a minutes walk from a grocery, bar, pharmacy, tabacconist, good restaurant and a lovely playground for the kids. Very little to no English spoken in the village but a small italian phrase book and very helpful and friendly locals will get you through.
Very good restaurants and hotels in local villages no more than 10 minutes from Pisano. Do try the restaurant in the Hotel Dei Conti in Castelnuovo exceptional food at very reasonable prices. Seaside 40 minutes away - Follonica has a great beach with some nice restaurants and shops. Siena worth a trip but is about and hour and 40 minutes away. Roads in the area are very twisty. -

It was not a big town but very cozy and friendly one. I really enjoyed the house i rented. It had everything i needed for my stay. In addition to that, Dario kindly offered me bottles of wines upon arrival which he(they) produce in the region. I really enjoyed staying there. People of the village were very kind esp. the lady next door. I greatfuly appreciated what she's done for me during my stay.

We really enjoyed our stay and the baths were visited daily. Great little village gave us a taste of Italy out of the major cities.

An excellent place to spend your summer holidays!
A traditional Italian 'villa'. Quiet, clean, spacious with a lovely garden and a place to sit and close to a very beautiful beach.

This is the place to stay if you're planning a trip to Tuscany. It was everything my boyfriend and I wanted, and we will definitely be coming back! We're planning a trip for next year already, and want to come back with friends! Top notch rental, amazing service, etc.

We discovered that this little middleage village was placed in the middle of the fantastic toscany nature. The house we lived in was very fascinating. The original middleage building was renovated carefully and furnished very natural and aesthetic. We met no turists but only nice and friendly nabourghs, who told about the history of Sasso Pisano. The nature around Sasso Pisano is very natural and beautiful, and it was exciting to explore the village.
