Gorham's Bluff is has been called one of the most romantic spots in Alabama. If you are looking for a weekend retreat, Gorham's Bluff is an easy drive from Birmingham, Atlanta, Huntsville or Chattanooga, but you'll feel like you're in a different world.

The view of the Tennessee River from behind the lodge in this community is spectacular, and the sunsets there are amazing.

Gorham's Bluff is an art based community of full time and weekend residents, perched on a bluff overlooking the Tennessee River. The architecture in this community is traditional, with clapboard siding and porches gracing most of the houses which are surrounded by white picket fences. Neighborhood activities include biking, fishing, and hiking. Within a short drive you can find a golf course, Little River Canyon and Desoto State Park, caves, shopping and the Tennessee Aquarium.

We have stayed here 5 or more times! Gorham's Bluff is a beautiful community nestled in the most serene setting! This house is just perfect with a fantastic open floor plan, wonderful bedrooms and baths as well as a well eqipped kitchen! If you choose not to cook, the food that is served at the Lodge down the street is top notch!! You can not beat this spot if you are looking to get away from it all!! We highly recommend it!!
