Description

This well maintained 2 bedroom home is built to take advantage of the 180 degree views of the lovely Placencia lagoon and Mayan mountain views. Enjoy the sunsets from the comfort of your hammock, deck or grab the fishing rod and plant yourself on your own private dock. Or perhaps a sunset paddle in the kayaks! It is the end house on a cul de sac, so a private, quiet location nestled in the shade of tall coconut palms. You are just a few minutes walk to the nearest bars, restaurants, grocery store and beach or grab the 2 bikes provided.

There are two large bedrooms, one with a king bed and one with a queen bed. Both have individually controlled air conditioning, ceiling fans and plenty of storage. This home is family friendly with a travel bed provided for infants/ toddlers and the convenience of having a bathtub.

The bathroom has beautiful granite counters, a single vanity, a shower and a bathtub.

The kitchen is fully equipped with all the appliances and cookware you will need, including fridge-freezer, gas stove and oven, coffee pot and blender for those sunset tropical drinks. The kitchen is finished with locally sourced hardwood cabinets and granite countertops.

The open plan living and dining area merge with the open kitchen. There is comfortable lounge seating for four, plus a separate dining table and chairs. There is another air conditioning unit here to keep you cool and comfortable.

There are double doors leading from the living area and kitchen onto the large deck - one of the best features of the house. Here you will find outdoor furniture, including hammocks, and this will become your favorite spot to spend time - reading, relaxing, keeping an eye out for passing dolphins or manatees, and of course for watching the sunsets over the lagoon and mountains. Two bikes and two kayaks are provided for your enjoyment!

A washing machine and dryer are also provided for your convenience. Private parking is onsite. While it is just a five minute walk to the main road, and from there the beach, grocery stores, bars and restaurants, we do recommend car rental for at least some of your stay to enjoy all the Placencia peninsula has to offer.

Response from the owner Thank you for your review, and I am sorry that you did not receive all the information sent.. Detailed instructions were provided on where I would meet you, and a request made to keep us informed if you were delayed. Unfortunately I was unable to wait beyond two hours for you. Email and texts were sent on where the keys were, and how to contact me. I revisited the house later that evening, and the following day before finding you at home. The neighbor did not set their dogs on you, they are enclosed on their private balcony. I pride myself on providing excellent customer service, and have always met my guests on arrival, on departure and during their stay as required, and am always available by email or phone. I am sorry that I was unable to fulfill this initial meeting with you.
