All rates are disclosed prior to booking and the meter is right in front of the house. The less electricity used, the more we save our environment and are able to offer a fantastic deal. The more electricity used, the price jumps up! Costa Rica has a three tier rate system, so if conservation is your objective, we can offer an unbeatable rate. If not, the electricity will be substantial but within the rates others charge for a weekly rental of this calibre.
** Please note that our security deposit is based on a weekly rental or less. If you are renting for more than two weeks, our security deposit increases on most properties; however, the monthly rate sometimes goes into effect and is less costly. Deposits are taken only via PayPal and returned to PayPal. You may use your credit card at PayPal directly (as a guest) and you do not need a PayPal account already; however, you may need to sign up with PayPal if your deposit and booking dates are more than 60 days apart as PayPal will not refund your security deposit directly to your credit card in this case, but instead store it inside their system where you can then follow their process to transfer it cost free to your bank account.

The moment we arrived we were in love with the place, like the heading states privacy and that is what it was. It was equipped with everything that you needed in the house plus the patio was used every day. Very quiet place to relax and the location to go see other attractions was excellent however we did rent a vehicle do explore the area. The power usage was reasonable for Dave was up front about it at the start if you what a/c all the time expect to pay for it. The staff were very friendly and the fact it is a gated community security was never a issue. Thanks Dave and Shannon for your info and like they say in Costa Rica Pura Vida

the is a very nice house with 3 big bedroom very pleasant to live in and the beach is only 10min walk from it.
we saw a dozen parrots (macaw)on the side of the road while we go to the beach a crocodile in the small creek and a bunch of titi monkeys.the beach are very nice and the water are so warm you can hardly feel the difference between the air and the water.
when you see 10 peoples on the beach it's a crowd.
you can take a long walk there,but don't forget the water it's hot on the beach.
Jaco is 30km drive eastfrom there and it's easy to shop for everything you need and if you want you can drive to parita on the west it's7km drive and there a lot you can by also in this little town.
i realy like to drive along the pacific to see the beach the town and talking to people and wathing the bird,animals of all kind and the paysage are very beautiful.

My husband and I stayed in this property for three weeks and loved every minute of it. The only reason it is not receiving 5 stars is due to lack of some outdoor necessities - table, chairs and grill. I believe a table and chairs have been added since our stay. Grilling was easily available in the shared community grill area which was a great way to meet people in the community.
The home is well equipped and comfortable. The pool in the courtyard was wonderful for late night swims and cooling off mid day. The courtyard creates a very private oasis, allowing us to be private when we wanted to be, or join festivities in the community pool area when we felt like being social - the best of both worlds.Response from EcoVida Properties - 04/02/2012

Bejuco hides in a secluded area away from the city and is a great location for those looking to get away. While it is secluded, it's about a 20 minute drive to two major tourist spots like Jaco and Manuel antonio, so it is very central for those willing to take a short drive for some night life or shopping. For the more adventurous there are canopy tours, hiking and waterfalls nearby.
Dave and Shannon from Ecovida were very helpful and provided great communication from our initial inquiry. They went out of their way to accommodate us in a short notice and answered any questions we had. The house is very ample and being new construction it was very well kept. The rooms were ample and all of the 3 bedrooms had their own bathroom. It has a washer and dryer and a complete kitchen. The private pool and hammock in the patio were very relaxing as was the community pool. The house is within walking distance to the beach and a little market in the corner but I would recommend a rental car if you wish to venture out. In short, the house and location exceeded my expectations and I would recommend this house for those looking to get away from it all.

We stayed in this great house last year and had a great time! The private pool was a big hit with the kids and I have to say that my husband and I could not have found anything better for the price. I cannot say how great a value it was and the privacy and location for us was second to none. The beach is like a private beach with very little people on it and only a few minutes down the road by foot. My family and I would recommend this home to anyone and everyone!

If you are looking for privacy, adventure, comfort and relaxation then this is the spot for you. This house is very close to all the activities you may want to do (such as atvs, jungle treks, horseback riding, surfing, zip lining etc..), but in the gated community it is very safe and also far removed from the hustle and bustle and its right within a short walk to the beautiful beach. We enjoyed watching the sunsets and collecting shells. Nothing beats relaxing in the hammock with a good book and a glass of cerveza. The cable tv and internet means you are always connected to the outside world if you want to and the kitchen is fitted out well. We enjoyed having the choice of making our own food using all the fresh ingredients we found in the area. Having the 3 ensuite bathrooms plus a powder room meant that no one ever had to wait to shower or use the facilities. We will stay here again for sure. it felt like home away from home!
