Great place for a family. Great to be able to "eat in" if you have small children. Pool and beach area great for kids. We had a little trouble with shower in guest bath spraying out of glass enclosure unless it was aimed at opposite wall. Lights in unit very dim and difficult for any evening reading, game playing or puzzle building. We wished it had more lamps as this drove us crazy! The staff is very attentive and all our needs were met. Paco, the poolside/beach attendant is worth his weight in gold! We took our 6 year old twins to Xcaret... value did not meet expectations. A lot of waiting in line and very expensive way to swim with dolphins and not get much more value out of experience. Would not go again to Xcaret. Great restaurant at entrance to Playacar south on 5th 2 blocks beyond walking mall...Xuman...don't miss it as you would never see it if you stay on 5th.

I recently stayed at Luna Encantada G2 with my three daughters, ages 13 - 44. We enjoyed the accomodations and the leisure of the area. Even though it was spring break week, the property was reletively quiet. Requests while we were there were handled quickly. The only negative was that the phone in G2 did not work and two of my daughters had famillies in the states that they expected to communicate with. Jose allowed us to use condos that were not being rented to make our calls (greatly appreciated) but a little inconcenient. I have to give a special thanks to Victor Cruz! He patiently listened to questions, answered them patiently and helpfully. He is truly an ambassador for the property, Playa del Carmen and Mexico! The cleaning service was fine and Jose was helpful as well. We all hated leaving, but will certainly keep Luna Encantada in our plans for the future!

My husband and I stayed at Lunda Encantada, G-2, and I feel it is the perfect condo. You have the view of the beach, the ocean and the pool. The condo was very clean and the staff was very polite and professional. A very relaxing vacation for us!

We stayed for 6 days and nights in this beautiful condo. We were steps to the beach, loved spending evenings on the patio listening to the sounds of the ocean! The beach was perfect and there was a great pool too...right off the beach! Cant wait to come back soon! Everyone was so helpful and kind!

I would recommend staying at Luna Encantada. It is beautiful, great location (next door to Fusion - wonderful food), it was clean, close to everything, would absolutely stay there on my next visit.

The condo was very nice and the bed was the most comfortable I've ever had in Mexico. The location is excellent and the beach is beautiful.
Had to rate only three stars for service as we were there during Christmas and maid service only came once, the day before we left. This really wasn't a big deal, but it would have been nice to have clean towels, sheets and the trash removed. Also we needed maintenance and we had to wait two days as they weren't available 1/2 day on the 24th or the entire day of the 25th. I realize it's their Christmas, but they raise the rates very high during this time and we received less service.
One of the most frustrating things was the lack of lounge chairs on the beach and at the pool. We had to go to the beach every morning and put our towels on the chairs to save them. This is a small, upscale place and for what we were paying to stay there, I didn't expect to have to save beach chairs like at the large resorts. I never go to the large resorts for this exact reason.
The worst thing was the family with three kids under 10 who let them go into the pool every morning very early. They were very loud and woke us up three mornings out of five. They were allowed to go out there at 6:50 am on Christmas morning. If there are rules about quiet times, this family certainly did not follow them!! I found them very rude and someone should have let the parents know that this early hour was unacceptable.
These are minor things and they certainly didn't ruin our vacation and we will definitely go back to Luna Encantada. However, I think the lack of beach chairs needs to be addressed and a quiet time enforced. -

We had a snaffu in the getting into our condo because the code was changed, and our water didn't come fast enough for our family of 6, but otherwise a perfect vacation. The location of the beach was awesome! We were close to everything. Benjamin was very helpful. We had access to all of the water sports right outside of our condo. Couldn't have asked for a better vacation. Hope to see you all again!

Thank you so much! We had a great stay at Luna Encantada. The staff is very helpful and the room was super clean. The location was perfect, close to anything you need. Can't wait to return again. Loved the security at the condos. My teens really enjoyed the beach and pool, there was plenty to entertain them with, lots of great food. We look forward to returning soon, we are already planning next vacation.

I must start by saying that Luna is the best place to stay in Playa!!! The Best! Be prepared for a beautiful and clean condo with a view that makes you want to stay. A few thing that would have made it even better...a manual or sort of guide/welcome book in the unit itself would have been good. It was hard to figure out how to work the tv, stereo and it took quite a bit and help from Benjarmin a few days later to find out that the internet and phone in the unit didnt work. That was our only hitch, it was a big one though becauase we did need internet access. We ended up takeing a few trips to the online cafe a few blocks up the road. Another quick tip. If you were comeing to Playa for a mexican experience, its probably not the right place for a true mexican vacation. Playa is more of a vacation resort town with a mexican flare. Happy travels!

This was our 4th stay at Luna Encantada in 3 years. You can't beat the location and the wonderful condos that are nicely decorated. You can walk to everything, the staff is very friendly, and the complex/city is very safe!
Renting hint: get a unit with the newer black windows. It really helps with outside noise. -

We were there with 18 family members and had a spectacular time. Excellent location, not in the middle of it all, but not far from it at all. Loved the fact that the backyard is the gorgeous ocean with a perfect view of Cozumel.
Just couple of tips: towels smelled a little musty upon arrival and the fridge had a fishy smell. Also would be nice to be able to have a "late checkout". Other than that, the 7 days we were there were just Estupendo!!!

G-2 condo is a beautiful condo but has several issues with it. First of all there seems to be an ongoing leak in the 2nd bathroom ceiling. On about the 3rd day of our vacation there was a big puddle of water on the vanity and floor of this bathroom. However when we mentioned it to Benjamin it was promptly fixed and the water cleaned up. No big deal. Also when we ran the air conditioning in the 2nd bedroom and living area the wall vents leaked and dropped water on the floor. On the 2nd last day there the fridge quit working and there was a big puddle of water on the kitchen floor from the ice melting in the freezer and leaking out onto the floor. Lastly the kitchen could be stocked better with cooking utensils, spices etc. My friends rented B-3 and had a wonderfully stocked kitchen. The location is perfect, nice and close to 5th Avenue,right on the beach and the pool was absolutely beautiful! Unfortunately when we arrived they were right in the middle of the beach restoration and we couldn't use our beach for 3 days. All in all I would definately stay at Luna Encantada again but would choose a different condo. You can't beat the location and the service was great!

Perfect location, luxurious condominium and property, excellent security and service (if you have any questions about the unit) G-2 has a tremendous view overlooking the pool to the sea, bright sun in the morning, private and a perfect spot on the best beach. It is nice having the Fusion restaurant right next door...but it is very tough to choose what to do because EVERYTHING is at your fingertips. I really do not understand why someone would stay anywhere but on this beach, (and maybe at this property) you eliminate so much walking and little travel time by being where all the action is...

The entire place was very clean and amenable. We were very happy with the
staff and their efforts to bend over backwards to help us with anything and
everything. The pool was great and the view of the beach was incredible. The
air conditioner worked good and the TV was nice too. having a washer and
dryer right in the unit was a big plus as well. -

The condo is very nice but it needs some maint. The Master bath toilet leaked, the master ceiling fan did not work, the cable tv never worked in the
