We had a great time at Luna Encantada. We had four adults and a two year old and it could not have been better. The staff are amazing, the unit is beautiful, the view is breathtaking, and the location is perfect. Free beach chairs and umbrellas (we tipped each time they set things up for us). The staff is always around to help with whatever you need. The rooftop patio is amazing, especially at night. Couldn't recommend this place more highly.

Luna Encantada was Spectacular! The ocean view was great. The decor and furniture was beautiful. The property was modern and quiet. A truly wonderful place to vacation!!!

Our stay in May of this year was the second year that our group stayed here. We returned because of the perfect location. It's a half block off 5th avenue, right on the beach and everything you want to do or see is within walking distance. The units are stocked with all the amenities you need to have a very comfortable stay while in Playa. The staff is friendly and does a wonderful job providing a safe, clean and pleasant facility. We've already booked for next year and started counting the days to our next visit.

My family and I (hubby, kids aged 3 and 10) absolutely loved this penthouse!! Property manager was great to deal with,very easy to book and willing to put up with my constant questions. Pros: beautiful penthouse with most of the comforts of home, great location, great staff that worked at the site, fantastic security. Loved the fact that it was beachfront in the best part of the beach-walked a little down the beach both ways and realized we definitely had the best location. Walking distance to Walmart and other big stores for food so we could utilize the fantastic BBQ on the upper floor! The only black mark was that the TV programming was only in spanish--I am not electronically inclined, so English may have been an option I could not figure out?? Thank goodness we had brought lots of Dvds for the kids. Loved how close it was to the pedestrian walk of Playa--can't wait to return!!

This group of condos is most perfectly situated right on the beach and one block from the restaurants and shopping on 5th avenue. The beach is a beautiful stretch of soft sand and clear, warm water. And the pool area leads you right to the beach.
This unit is on the top floor with the most gorgeous beach views from a large, comfortable deck (also boasts a great roof deck patio). The condo is richly decorated and furnished and has all the modern amenities of home.
This unit is a 2 bedroom, 2 bath and very spacious. I also visited another 3rd/top floor unit of friends we met and their 3-bed was also very nice.
Highly recommend for families. We traveled with one toddler and she had plenty of friends to play with at the pool. This was great for us, but couples looking for a quiet, romantic get-away might prefer one of the all-inclusive resorts. -

My wife and I had longed for a romantic getaway for some time. We lucked upon an opportunity and decide to jump on it. We could not have been more pleased with the location and accommodations. Located, right off the beach with beautiful white sand beaches, all viewed from a private roof top balcony...wow!!! The "endless" pool provided another great place to relax and the interior accommodations were great. I like to cook and the kitchen had everything a cook could need. Another advantage was that while we initially were seeking a private getaway, we were located one block off of 5th ave., the Playa equivalent of Time Square. Yet, while it offered all the variety we could seek in a night life atmosphere, we never heard a sound once we walked back to our condo.
All that said about it being the perfect romantic getaway...we taking the kids next year, because it absolutely works for both.

This condo complex is located right in the middle of Playa, so its close to 5th Avenue, but there were no issues with noise from surrounding properties. We loved being able to walk to all the restaurants and shops, but also shopped at Walmart and Mega for groceries for breakfast and lunch.
The infinity pool was fantastic and I loved not having to buy pool toys for my kids! There were plenty of chairs on the beach, and if you get there early enough, you can score a spot under a palm tree. The beach was nice also, as you could swim in the ocean right in front of the complex.
The condo was well-equipped and had everything we needed, and then some. I also loved having a safe for our passports and money.
We hope to come back again! -

This is the second time we have stayed in Luna Encatada, the first time in
H-3 which I think is one of the very nicest condo's in the whole complex.
Nice because your view of your balcony is straight out to the ocean and yet
you are not "exposed" to the beach walkers like the end units. We did not
make much use of our topside space since it had rained heavily the days
before we got there and the cushions were soaked. Even standing them on
end in the sun and letting the water drain out of them did not dry them out
enough to sit on them. It is however a wonderful place to have an evening
cocktail before bed.The condo is nicely equipped with all the necessary
items and although we mostly cooked for breakfast and lunch, it would be
easy to fix a lovely dinner. One thing that can be improved upon in the
number of lounges that are available pool and beach side. The limited
number of lounges pool side are quickly used up and some of the lounges
on the beach have seen better days. This is the only item of concern. The
staff is wonderful and are attentive to problems that may arise. Our condo
was cleaned every other day and was left spotless...we were very pleased.
Luna Encantada is "the spot" to stay in Playa. H-3 is one of their very nicest

What a wonderful experience! The unit was great with beautiful views, amenities and the best location in Playa del Carmen. The recently redone beach was fantastic and the distance to Fifth Avenue was unbeatable. We would definitely return.

We stayed in Luna Encantada H-3 in July 2009.
It is a beautiful condo with everything you could possibility ask for. The location is perfect - right on the beach and just a block from 5th Ave. with all the shopping and restaurants.
Pamela was a wonderful help with instructions on transportation from Cancun to Playa, good restaurants, sites to see, etc.
We did not hear anything from the club to the south, in fact it was a nice beach club during the day, but no music at all at night.
I can't wait until I have a chance to go back again!! -

My family stayed in this condo in July. The condo was clean and well stocked with everything we could need. It was nicely decorated with beautiful teak furniture. The views out to the water were gorgeous. The rooftop deck was a great addition to the condo- perfect for having a beverage and watching the sunset. The beach in front of the complex was plenty big and even had palm trees for some much-needed shade.
The location couldn’t be beat. It was right in the middle of town and close to everything we needed. There was even a Walmart within walking distance.
The wifi and phone with free long distance calls were a must for my kids who wanted to maintain contact with their friends back home.
We would definitely stay here again!

A beach-front condo in Playa with a rooftop terrace. What's not to love? This place is beautifully decorated and well appointed. We loved the location - right on the beach and close to 5th Avenue. The on-site crew was very helpful and more service than we expected for a private home. We ate some dinners and breakfast in, and even hired a personal cook for a few days. We loved the dining in Playa too. We'll be back! PS Try Fusion restaurant next door for fish tacos.
