This 1500-square foot luxury beachfront condo is perfect for the family that wants to enjoy the tranquil pleasures of Mexico's Playa del Carmen. Located in the 24-unit Luna Encantada complex, the condo is on the beach, and is a 1/2 block from fine restaurants and shopping. Its central location and luxurious interior makes it the perfect vacation spot.

The professionally decorated 3-bedroom condo offers many elegant touches reminiscent of a first class hotel, unparalleled in Playa del Carmen. Features include a fully appointed gourmet kitchen with stainless steel appliance...s and granite countertops, luxury bathrooms with marble floors and walls, and travertine marble floors throughout the unit, extending to the private balcony.

The 10-foot high ceilings and private balcony enhances the viewing pleasure of the unspoiled Caribbean setting. Other amenities include: washer/dryer, linens, beach towels, 24-hour security, ceiling fans, individually climate controlled air conditioning, water purification system, underground parking, and elevator.

The gourmet kitchen has everything you need to make a meal, including toaster oven, oven and microwave-proof dishes, cookie sheets, colander, cheese grater, blender, ice cube trays, cutting boards, and drying rack. And at least 12 place settings of all restaurant-quality dishes ensure that you won't have to run the dishwasher after every meal.

There are three spacious bedrooms in the condo that will comfortably accommodate 6 people. The master suite with attached bathroom and walk-in closet is furnished with a king bed; the 2nd bedroom has one Queen bed; and the 3rd bedroom has one Queen bed. All of the large windows and sliding doors are covered with black-out curtains to ensure that you can sleep in if you want to. Also, the condo has recently been equipped with hurricane glass on all of the windows and doors, which has an added benefit of keeping out any unwanted noise.

The beach in front of Luna is white powdery sand, and the crystal-clear blue-green ocean can be entered in front of the complex. The beach is furnished with lounge chairs for use only by Luna guests, and there are palm trees to relax under if you need a break from the sun.

Guests will find all the convenient comforts at the doorstep. Open air restaurants and boutique shopping on Quinta Avenida (5th Avenue) is just a block away. Just 4 blocks from the condo is the Cozumel Ferry Pier, which takes you to Cozumel. Relax on lounge chairs next to the infinity edge pool, which appears to blend right into the ocean. Or, use the patio furniture on your private balcony.

Other condo features include high speed wireless internet access; free, unlimited calls to most North American and European countries (calls inside Mexico are 10 cents per minute) voicemail and caller ID; and a hotel-quality safe for a laptop and other valuables. Every other day maid service is included. Other services available for an additional fee include van service from Cancun airport ($70 for up to 6 people), personal chef service, and provisioning services.

  We loved our stay in Luna Encantada. The condo complex is wonderfully sited with a beautiful view of the infinity edge pool and the aqua blue Carribean Ocean. We had fresh water in the condo whenever we needed it. The grocery store was within walking distance, as well as the main shopping and restaurant district. We would definitely go back to Mexico and would like to stay here again.

  Great setup..with one exception

  We enjoyed the location, the condo, sunshine, pool, beach, Fusion, and the added transportation/guard duty. However, what put a negative into the experience was the group that was staying in the condo/penthouse directly above us.
  
  They were having heated, domestic arguments every night...into the late hours of the night. It seemed as if they were yelling and throwing furniture as it banged on our ceiling. Additionally, we had some friends with kids that rented a penthouse condo across from this party and they pointed it out as obnoxious and disappointing. I found it hard to believe that the on-site guards didn't hear it and do something about it. Nothing was done. This immature, loud showing from this group of owners/renters far and away exceeded any concerns from any night club sounds. Lame.
  
  Now, with that said, I would not hesitate to rent this unit again as long as the on-site security crew had a better handle on taking care of the self entitled, loud types.

  We stayed in F2 with our two very young children and thought it was perfect for what
  we were looking for. The unit was very nice and in a perfect location. We could walk
  to everything and didn't need to rent a car. They even provided two pack and plays
  for us, which was great. We were very happy and would absolutely stay again.

  this was really a beautiful condo, and right on the beach. having three bedrooms made the vacation great for our family, and the kitchen had everything we needed to make our own meals when we weren't eating at restaurants. the infinity pool is great and we walked from the pool right onto the beach every day. nice people on site to help too.

  Beautiful condo and perfect location!

  This condo was amazing- I feel it was accurately represented in the
  description, and the views were even better than the photos! The condo had
  everything we needed and more. It was so nice having a kitchen and washer
  dryer.
  
  The pool was perfect for our little kids, who never wanted to get out. The
  beach in front of Luna was plenty big and there were even palm trees for
  shade.
  
  The location of the complex couldn't be beat. It was so nice being 1 block from
  5th Ave. Some of our favorite restaurants were the Fusion Hotel next door, HC
  Carne, and 100% Natural on 5th Ave.
  
  We never had an issue with noise from the adjacent properties.

  We spent 3 nights in Luna Encantada F-2, a beachfront luxury condo with 3 BRs. This was our first time to Playa and did not know what to expect on the location and quality of the condo. We walked away feeling that Luna is a near perfect blend of location (access to 5th Ave, beach, etc) and quality (condo amenities, quality materials, etc).
  
  I would highly recommend Luna for your stay in Playa.
