Located in downtown Playa del Carmen right off of 5th Avenue and only steps from Mamita's Beach. 5th Avenue is a one of a kind pedestrian promenade that offers boutique shopping, and fine dining, as well as traditional Mexican culture. It is the single most walked Avenue in Mexico. Playa has a small town feel, but it boasts all the amenities that a traveler could want. This combination is what makes Playa so unique. Just on the outskirts of town you can visit the water park Xel Ha, or the theme park Xcaret. There is an abundance of Eco Touristic activities that you can experience including a jungle Zip Line or Kayaking in the Sian Ka'an Biosphere Reserve. The area is perforated with natural Cenotes which offer a very unique diving experience. There is exceptional snorkeling & the diving just off of Cozumel, on the second largest barrier reef in the world. Not to mention the outstanding Sport Fishing. The wonders of the Mayan Culture are all around in the Ruins.

Aldea Thai is a beatuful complex located 50 meters from the beach. It has its own reseption and security, and an excellent swimmingpool/sunbed area. The apartment was very vell mantained and clean, and the owner of the company was cheking several times during my stay that everything was ok.
I will for sure use Teamoplaya when I go back to Playa

Already reviewed on Trip advisor. Difficult to get a hold of Marissa once the contract is signed and paid in full. No bottled water upon arrival. Stove did not work, so we could not boil water for consumption. Oxo was closed. One wicker deck chair was missing the seat. Marissa knew, but did not replace. Had to sit on bed or stand on balcony. Two pillows for one king bed. No negotiation for more pillows. Difficult to get a return call from Marissa. Had to use the front desk clerk to reach her for us. Stressful stay. Only saving grace was the location right on the beach and a block from 5th avenue.

The hotel is in a great location and is a condo, so there are various Managers that you can book through. Overall our room was clean. If I was to be picky, then it does need a few updates like a coat of paint and to fix up some cracked plastering in the bathroom. The balcony chair was also broken, which should also be changed. If you don't opt to pay extra for daily replacement towels or cleaning, you will only get them at the start and once in the middle of your stay. As it is a mini condo, we were disappointed not to have a washing machine inside, but there is a landromat 5 mins walk for someone to wash your clothes for around us$5 for 5 Kilos. The hotel has a great feel and there's a pleasant pool on the second floor which looks really nice. The beach right next to the condo is the best in all of PDC in our opinion. There's two beach clubs, Kool and Mamita's. We used most of our time on the beach at Kool, but both are great with beach chairs, umbrellas and DJ playing lounge/house music and food service. I would recommend this place if you want to be close to the beach and enjoy lazing around on the beach chairs. It's close to 5th ave also, which is fantastic at night with plenty of places to eat.

Perfect Location, close to beach and the main restaurant strip in Playa (5th av). The apartment was clean and well equipped (only thing missing was a kettle) and Marissa was very available for anything that we needed.
Airport pick up was very good (beware of the men who look like they are part of the transfer and help carry your bags, but they are not - they expect to be paid). Wireless internet was very good, the pool was nice but we did find it a bit dirty.
We would recommend to friends. Thanks for a good stay Marissa :) -

My girlfriend and I spent our Spring 2012 vacations in Playa del Carmen and decided to rent this studio in one of the hotest areas in town. Located just a few steps from the white sand beach and the most sought after "Playa Mamitas" beach club, and a couple of blocks from The Fifth avenue ("La Quinta") a walking street packed with restaurants, all sorts of stores and clubs. From the studio's balcony, extraordinary view of the ocean with all-day-long color changing landscapes from sunrise to sunset. All facilities working perfectly. Property management very professional and trustful showing kind concern our stay went OK at all times. Excellent service. The studio looked almost brand new, contemporary style and was very comfortable. We believe the overall value of our money spent renting this studio was quite more competitive than those hotel options we compered it to prior to our trip. We would definitely rent this place again when we come back to Playa.

This gorgeous little hideaway from home is as exactly described new, modern, and very clean. It really is only steps from the best beach in Playa, Mamita`s.
Marissa was great, always responded very quickly and a pleasure to work with, I will use her again next year and wouldn`t hesitate to recommend her to friends and family.
It is close to 5th avenue, the grocery stores, and of course the beach.
The pool is nice and clean, never a problem finding a lounger. The air conditioner worked great, nice and cool.
I found all the staff at aldea Thai to be very helpful and friendly.
I will be returning next year with friends in a bigger 2 bedroom unit, can`t wait.
The only downside is that the unit does not have an oven or a BBQ grill.

This building is really really beautiful! The best place because you are almost on the beach between 2 most popular beach clubs and the famous 5th. Marissa is always there for you! The best building manager I know. I've been with her for my vacations twice and she is the best! You have everything in this apartment to enjoy this perfect place which is Playa DEL Carmen!

It was an amazing location, I really don't know if it can be beat! You are a block from the beach and two blocks from 5th avenue, the room was beautiful the view was incredible. I don't know if we will ever stay anywhere else after staying here.

Loved staying at Studio Patrizia. It was my first time there, and I loved that it felt like it was my own condo, yet with cleaning service and concierge. It felt very private and quiet...it was impeccably clean and super modern decor inside and out. Close to everything...we walked to 5th avenue, which is just up the street 1.5 blocks away, and the beach was a few steps away. Love the view of the beach...I will stay there every time I come to Playa for sure!

We were very happy with our stay at this studio condo in Playa del Carmen. The location was perfect--close to a beautiful beach and 2 very nice beach clubs (Mamitas and Kool), as well as closeby to 5th avenue. We also really enjoyed the balcony with a view of the ocean. The kitchen, decor/furnishings, and the pool at aldea Thai were also really nice. The studio was very well maintained, and the maid did an excellent job cleaning mid-week. Overall, we loved staying at this condo and would definitely return and recommend to others.

My husband and I had a wonderful time at aldea Thai! Working with Marissa was easy and enjoyable! I highly recommend this property to other renters. Studio Patrizia is located on the best beach in Playa and is only a short walk to nightlife and restaurants. We were happy that we were not in the loud area of town when we wanted to sleep too. The hotel is beautiful, romantic and comfortable - perfect for a couple. Everything was great!
