We stayed in the penthouse 10 twice, in December and then in February. I love this beautiful, nicely decorated condo with a breathtaking view from the balcony or rooftop terrace. We were spending nice time on the private beach in the morning and afternoon on our roof terrace with hot tub. This condo is very nice furnished and well equipped. There is a choice of table games and books available. The sliding door from our bedroom to the balcony with ocean view allowed us to enjoy the breeze at night. The huge pool is very clean and well furnished. Thanks our cleaning lady, our condo was great maintained. The kitchen was equipped with big choice of dishes, plastic containers, blender and juice maker. We spend a lot of time on our terraces, doing barbecue, relaxing in the hot tub or enjoying hammock. If you need a little bit more action, you can go to the great Cannibal Royal beach club right next to enjoy the music and tasty food or to go to the 5th avenue, 5-10 minutes by foot or by taxi, witch is not difficult to find, as far as the taxi parking is just near. Â Our vacation was great and we will definitely be back soon.

After reading the great reviews, we booked 5 nights in Penthouse 10. Upon arrival, we walked into the room having a weeks worth of food from the previous guests laid out over the kitchen. House keeping was cleaning it out, but it really should have been done earlier. One of the small twin beds had an unstable leg and wobbled all over the place, the light switch covers fell off when touched, the grill did not work, and the hot tub was broken. When we arrived, there was no water in the hot tub, so we called and had it filled. The next day when we went to use it, the hot tub was empty. There was some kind of leak and it was not usable. The TV read "no signal" and did not work our entire trip. And the best of all...the trash. We were told that we could not flush toilet paper down the toilet, and to dispose of it in the trash can. We were also told people would come by a few times a day to pick up the "trash". Nope. Three bags of toilet paper from 4 people sat ouside the door for 3 days. That is absolutley disgusting- having to walk into your already dissapointing "penthouse" being greeted by "trash" that has sat in the humid air for three days. The view of the beach was nice, but is was surrounded by two properties that looked like compounds and had people arriving and leaving in the early hours of the morning. Not to mention, there was a poilce car outside of the hotel 24 hours a day, that says a lot about location.
To summarize:

hola seniorita thank you for you comment, good or bad it's always interesting having the pulse of our client, however there are a few thing you need to understand. first we allow client to place there luggage in the condo but we need to clean the unit and the check in is always at 4pm that's why when u came the unit was not ready yet but we allow client in to change and leave their luggage. for the toilet paper being canadian i totally understand how you feel and agree with you but this is mexico and i have no answer.....for the trash outside i really dont understand, this building is very prestigious and they not permit trash in the corridor... for the tv signal if it's very cloudy outside it does happen that we loose signal but it normally come back fast.... i don't understand why you say the opposite, anyway for the police downstairs again we are in mexico and they are everywhere. the bed we did fix it after you told us. the bbq with the climatic condition here it jam and we resolve the problem by turn on the gas all time and all you need to do is opening and closing the gas valve when you finish...i am really sorry you feel that way especially that project is always well appreciated by our guess and it's a premiere having a bad review on this project...so funny cause the client that was there before you just sent us a amazing review on the same property....i feel very bad for you and im sorry you had all those problem... obviously you had a terrible time and i feel bad when someone leave back with a bad taste...

Where do I start! The place is immaculate, and the views are absolutely spectacular, while enjoying your morning coffee you can see an uninterrupted view of the ocean and all the activity happening, then off you go along a very clean and groomed beach , where you can walk for miles and take in more views or go for a swim. Minutes walk to the famous 5th avenue where you'll find plenty of shops and watering holes. You can also walk to Mega or WalMart for all your personal needs!!! Both of those shops carry everything from food, wine, liquor, appliances,etc, then for 60 pesos you can hail a cab to bring you home. I would highly recommend this place to anyone!

Our experience at Elements was amazing. The condo was beautiful, view was spectacular, pool and private beach was gorgeous! The condo itself was clean, well kept and had everything we needed. Playa del Carmen is a great place to vacation and has many romantic places to visit, drink and dine!!
Our rep, Fabiola, was amazing throughout the entire stay and looked after us very well. She was very attentive and helpful, and was always available if we needed anything. The service she provided was top notch. She made us feel very comfortable and very much "at home" during our stay. I would recommend her to anyone looking to stay in Playa... she was very sweet and just a great person in general!!
We hope to come back soon!!!

My husband and I got married in Tulum on may 9th. A good friend of ours recommended Elements for our honeymoon. We are so happy that we listened and decided to stay with you for the week. The staff (specifically Fabiola) was wonderful and exceeded our expectations. We loved the condo, the location, the beach and all the staff! Thank you!

Condo was everything we had expected.Very clean, very nicely laid out ,view from large deck was absolutely amazing.Pool was beautiful with lots of sitting areas.Private beach was very quiet, gorgeous sand and lots of beds with shade or sunny areas.
Short walk to Fifth avenue ( a must ) and lots and lots of entertainment and restaurants within walking distance.A great place to relax, eat, drink and shop.Lots of opportunities for watersports or sightseeing. -

We had a wonderful experience with our holiday at the elements in this wonderful condo. The condo was fully equipped with everything you would need. It is clean and extemely well maintained. The condo is warm and inviting and having the 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms made it easy to share with another couple. We enjoyed many meals sitting out on the balcony enjoying the view. We also spent alot of our time relaxing on the beach and swimming in the ocean. We have been to Playa quite a few times and found this to be one of the nicest beaches by far. The location is great and about a 10-15 minute walk to 5th avenue. We were able to get all of our groceries at the local WalMart and Mega store which you can walk to or take a cab for 5 us dollars. The prices were inexpensive including alcohol. We have usually gone to a all-inclusives but after staying here and realizing how much nicer this was we will plan future holidays renting condos. We look forward to going back to the Elements and staying in penthouse 10 as this was a deliteful holiday.

Really beautiful bright and spacious apartment with great ocean view.Fully equipped with all necessities to make our stay comfortable.Large patio with BBQ enjoyed relaxing in the hammock. .360deg rooftop view .where we enjoyed the nice cool evening breeze.Great kitchen and dining room area with all utensils. No time to watch TV to busy enjoying the short trip to the beach or hanging out at the amazing well maintained swimming pool. Staff were polite friendly and helpful. Residents and guests helped to make our stay most enjoyable.A short distance to downtown made it convenient for shopping and checking out the local restaurants. Will return

Having traveled to many europe countries I decided to go east. What a wonderrful experience. What a beautiful, friendly location. The accomodation was excellent, so good I have booked to return in Jan 2011. The Elements is a prime location with private pool and beach and within easy walking distance of many restaurants and night life. Top notch, well appointed accommodation will all the amenities, perks and views you could dream of. The location could not be better; in the morning you could step out of the condo, walk for miles along the beach, have a swim, then walk to the famous 5th avenue will all the shops, restaurants, bistros, pubs, etc. Walking distance to the local shopkeepers and/or megastores for all your grocery needs and a $5 ride home in a taxi with your purchases!
End the day with a late night swim in the largest pool in Playa or go up to your own Penthouse for dip in the hot tub. -

Beautiful complex, incredible view, fabulous beach front, great quiet location, within walking distance of absolutely everything, from shopping and entertainment, to wonderful restaurants and sidewalk bistros. Had everything we needed including an enormous pool, gym, and internet access. The private penthouse terrace and hottub were an added bonus many nights!

This was my first time in Mexico and what an experience. The accomodation was truely excellant and the view from the condo was breath taking. I would recommend this accomodation without hesitation. It was clean, modern, comfortable and the located was perfect.
