Located in downtown Playa del Carmen right off of 5th Avenue and only steps from Mamitas Beach. 5th Avenue is a one of a kind pedestrian promenade that offers boutique shopping, and fine dining, as well as traditional Mexican culture. It is the single most walked Avenue in Mexico. Playa has a small town feel, but it boasts all the amenities that a traveler could want. This combination is what makes Playa so unique. Just on the outskirts of town you can visit the water park Xel Ha, or the theme park Xcaret. There is an abundance of Eco Touristic activities that you can experience including a jungle Zip Line or Kayaking in the Sian Ka'an Biosphere Reserve. The area is perforated with natural Cenotes which offer a very unique diving experience. There is exceptional snorkeling & the diving just off of Cozumel, on the second largest barrier reef in the world. Not to mention the outstanding Sport Fishing. The wonders of the Mayan Culture are all around in the Ruins.

This is our second year staying at aldea Thai, and we will be back for many more. The location is second to none, the rooms (this time we stayed in the penthouse) are spacious and clean. I can't say enough about the actual space, and booking/working with Marissa is easy and she takes great care of you while you are there.

A great little apartment just off the main drag in playa, we had a blast. I was there with a group of guys for a men's weekend, but being a married man myslef I would definitely return with my wife and kids.
The nearby beach is a little "clubby", light techno music, and is populated mainly by locals and internationals...but its a short walk to the big hotels on the other side of the pier.
There is a fantastic little fish taco place right around the corner and scuba diving, snorkeling/ fishing tours right next door.
The apartment is beautiful and has great views of the ocean from the roofdeck (which has a grill). The complex does have check in staff and a concierge so even though you're renting an apartment you have all the amenities of a hotel (with the exception of room service). -

This apartment is modern, clean, comfortable and has the roof top which is perfect for relaxing after a day on the beach and before going put to dinner and shopping.
The agent was flexible and helpful. -

It's the best place to be in Playa for sure. Right next to Mamita's Beach which has great music playing all day and a great crowd. We loved it. You're so close to 5th avenue too and all the boutiques and restaurant. It's like a little oasis right in the middle of everything.
You still get the services of a hotel like bellman+ cleaning + they bring you purified water all the time. They have a cell phone at your disposition.
Everything was perfect!
