This place is fantastic. We had a penthouse with our own private plunge pool. It's located just off 5th, which in our opinion was perfect as it allowed us to escape the hustle and bustle when we wanted to. Shops and restaurants all within walking distance. The only hiccup was when we checked in, to be told that they did not have a booking for us, and hence, no room. Which came as a surprise as we had booked three months previously and luckily had the paperwork to prove it. After a phone call by reception though, it was all sorted and everything went smoothly from then on. Apart from the plunge pools there are two other pools in the complex - one on the roof (spectacular views) and one on the ground. Both are kept spotlessly clean. Apartments are well equipped with everything you could need. If I ever go back to Playa del Carmen, I would not stay anywhere else.

We loved staying at this hotel - the rooms were gorgeous, decorated in a modern style. As mentioned by another reviewer, it's located at the end of the busy, 5th avenue fun spots. However, it's peaceful and quiet and located on a beautiful spot on the beach. The reception staff was very helpful and pleasant.

We spent a few days at Pueblito Escondido and we loved it ! Staff was helpful for the check-in. The appartment was bigger than expected and the small private pool on a roof a great surprise ! The bigger roof pool was quite enjoyable too - nice view.

We loved this place! The decor is modern and very nice. It is right next to the beach, although a little bit of a distance from the older downtown area of Playa. Didn't matter to us though. We rented bikes or walked along the beach or strolled down 5th. The area it is in seems to be the up and coming area in Playa. We loved eating at the restaurants in the area. Will definitely come back, many times!

We absolutely loved this place when we stayed there! The building it's is super nice and clean and well finished, with very friendly staff working there. You can't go wrong staying there. It's across the street from the beach and you can walk to the happening part of Playa del Carmen, with all the restaurants and nightlife. The condo itself is great, it's large and roomy with a bonus rooftop deck upstairs that has its own pool, and with a large common pool with rooftop bar for tropical cocktails while staring at the view of the beach. How can you go wrong with that? It's pretty close to the Cancun airport, just over an hour drive, but far enough away to stay away from the rif raf and spring break scene. It's also driving distance from some great attractions, like the Mayan ruins. Finally it's a really relaxing, fun place to spend a vacation, not cheezy or stuffy like a lot of the places in Cancun, a much better option for someone who wants something off the beaten path...

The rooftop has breathtaking views and is the perfect spot for lounging (private pool or infinity pool) and sipping cocktails. The condo/private patio make it perfect for a group of 4-6. Location makes it easy/close for jumps in the ocean, beach clubs to spice it up and all that 5th avenue has to offer. Planning my next trip already!

My husband and I traveled down to Playa del Carmen with friends, and we had the best stay here. Pueblito Escondido is such a find - it's right near the beach and walking distance to downtown yet feels very secluded and private. The condo itself was absolutely lovely w/ beautifully modern interiors and all of the amenities you could ask for. Our own private splash pool on the roof was spectacular! We also thoroughly enjoyed the pina coladas made by the darling bartender at the rooftop pool. Truly a luxurious slice of paradise here...
