This hotel is perfectly located on 5th avenue ( the quiet side) and literally 2 min walk to the beach. You have to go through the other hotel grounds to access the beach but with your towels you are given chairs and same service as guests of that hotel. The 2 bedroom condo is very convenient as each room has it's own full bathroom. The living room and kitchen are very spacious so for couples and families it's perfect, not that you would be spending lots of time in there. They talk about ocean view, but I was 2 floor and I didn't see any ocean. We had some issues with the internet that stopped working and asked many times for it to be fixed but nothing was done. Also, the patio door was broken, not closing and when asked for it to be fixed again nothing was done and I had to fight and be creative to make it close. Maybe it's no big deal but we were two girls and we wanted to feel safe. Also, there is nobody in the evening or at night to help you at the front desk, only a security guard who doesn't speak english and is not of any help. We got charged the stay twice but luckily after few emails back and forth and some apologies from their side it was finally reimbursed after a week. Overall it's a nice place but would go somewhere else next time

This is our fifth year to have our family vacation at this property; and once again we had a great time and cannot wait to return. This location is at the "quieter" end of 5th street and is very family-friendly. Beach and pool are a peaceful short stroll away. Easy access to 5th avenue restaurants and shopping. Great location. Simone and the staff very, very friendly and helpful. Rooms of good size and always clean. In five years we have never been disappointed and are already planning to return.

This is the 4th time we have stayed at Riviera Maya Suites in Playa Del Carmen, Mexico. The condos are nicely equipped, spotlessly clean and super well located, steps from 5th avenue and the beach.
The real benefit is being able to use the Hotel Las Palapas beach and restaurant facilities. This is the finest beach anywhere.
We have never been disappointed at Riviera Maya Suites and neither will you..
