We were greeted by very friendly staff from the outset who showed us to our penthouse. This was a great place, very modern, clean, spacious with amazing views of the beach.
We were located one street from the beach and could hear the waves crashing throughout the day which not only looked beautiful but sounded amazing.
Loved the Magia site and the quality of our Penthouse, not forgetting the convenient location. -

Very nice condo and great property in a perfect location. Close to everything, but not too close to the loud party area of Playa so you can get a good night sleep. There was no iPod hook up, no blow dryer and internet was not working. Despite that, I would recommend the property just make sure you plan for these things. The team at Bric is very helpful in making recommendations and helping with plans.

Magia Playa was a great place to stay during a recent trip with a bunch of friends. The location was close to everything we needed. It was just steps from the beach and close to the restaurants and nightlife. The condo was very spacious, and was very clean when we arrived. Also the people in charge were very helpful and were able to accommodate all our needs.

This condo seems to have been built hastily, with no regard to actual function
and quality. Everything just seems off - all of the provided cookware and
utensils are old and dirty, there is mold growing in corners of the roof and the
doors are nearly dysfunctional. There were also four leaks, and by the end of
the stay all of our towels were devoted to soaking up the water that was
dripping from the ceiling in nearly all of the rooms. The air conditioning didn't
work at all in the upstairs room. I don't know, I suppose this place is good for
the price if you are a rowdy group of college kids on spring break looking for a

Sorry to hear about your less than desirable stay at Magia Playa. It seems a lot of the upstairs penthouse units had some issues with the heavy rains this fall and the owners, developer and BRIC have been working collectively to remedy the situation. And after another week of heavy rains it appears that all of the "water" issues associated with Magia Playa have been remedied.
The weather, particularly the rainy season, is always tough on the properties near the beach. It seems to affect everything, including the doors, plumbing and even electrical.
We apologize for the inconvenience it caused you during your stay and thank you very much for your feedback.

This place was awesome!!! Everything about it was great except it took two days for the air conditioner to catch up and cool the place. If you stay here, email or call ahead and ask them to turn the A/C on before you arrive. Then, leave a note for the maid to please leave it on. If you don't she will turn it off.... a little tip with the note does wonders..... The "door man" we had most of our stay was Sergio and he was beyond awesome. He catered to our every whim. He went way beyond the call of duty on several occasions. The whole trip was really great. I would definitely stay here again.
