Villa Izcalli is located in Playacar Phase I, the beach side gated resort community adjacent to Playa del Carmen. The walk to the beach is literally no more than 2 minutes. A 10 minute walk will take you into town, to Famous Fifth Avenue with all the restaurants, bars, shopping, nightlife. Playacar Phase I is quiet, with little traffic, it has a small archeological site with a Mayan ruin, unsurpassed ocean views and access.

My husband and I traveled to Playa del Carmen with two other couples. Villa Izcalli was spacious, clean and beautifully decorated. The pool was spectacular and the house was well equipped with chairs, coolers, etc. for the short walk to the beach. The location was fantastic. We could walk to restaurants and shopping and felt safe doing so. The concierge had fabulous meals prepared for us and also gave us great recommendations for activities and restaurants. It was truly one of the best vacations we have ever taken. I can't wait to go back!

We were a family of 11 last week ranging from age 70 down to 10. The house is huge and very well decorated with high end furnishings and finishings. The kitchen is large and well equipped for families who want to save money or prefer to cook at home. Playacar Phase 1 is gated and filled with wonderful and helpful security people. We felt very safe and secure in the house and neighborhood. The cleaners were impeccable. The management is wonderful, courteous and very helpful. The rooftop pool is very clean and has daily maintenance and the deck is large and has a beautiful view. Very short walk to 5th ave and shopping. Stone's throw from the beach. Large assortment of beach accessories to use in the garage including umbrellas and chairs. Bikes available for rent for the week. Not only do I recommend, but plan to return and bring others. We were 13 girls away for a weekend in Mexico. The house was just perfect for what we were looking to do while in Playa Del Carmen: sunshine, pool time, and cocktails. We still can't believe what a steal this property is. Enough room for everyone to sleep. 5 bathrooms, which is important when travelling with so many ladies. The rooftop pool was just as great as it looks in the pictures. The beach is just around the corner, and a 10 minute walk up along said beach into town. Great things including a free cell phone to use while we were there, an ipod dock to play music anywhere in the house, wi-fi, AC, etc. Enough chairs to accommodate everyone. Dante, the house manager, was really helpful in getting us anything we needed.
We also hired Uno Events to cook for us at the house and we highly recommend Susan and her services! She made sure the house was stocked with everything we wanted at really reasonable prices and her food is just delicious. She even offered to buy the wine we didn't drink at the end of the weekend. Very cool
Overall great trip; will probably be an annual stay at the Villa Izcalli for our group! -

We had the most amazing vacation in the Villa. Half block to the beach. Amazing home (layout, upkeep, staff, resources). Quick shoreline walk to downtown. The giant, sit-down kitchen table a huge plus. Infinity pool to die for.
Wish I was still there. -

Muchas gracias por todo pasamos unas vacaciones increibles,la casa muy bonita comoda, y con una buenisima ubicacion,la verdad es que quedamos combidados a regresar el proximo ano,asi que nos estaremos comunicando contigo mas adelante.Espero que tu tambien hayas encontrado muy bien la casa despues de irnos,la verdad que la cuidamos como que fuera propia.No se si al fin cambiaste la clave de la llave,nosotros te la dejamos alli.Solo tuvimos un pequeno problema a mi hija se le desaparecio el dia miercoles un brasier negro,les preguntamos a las empleadas pero nos dijeron que no lo habian visto,mi hija me dijo que la que hacia su cuarto es la que se llama Lady,la verdad no se que pudo haber pasado pues me parecieron excelentes personas sobre todo la que se llama Nery,muy amable y servicial la verdad,por lo demas estubo todo increible,asi que como te puse anteriormente nos estaremos comunicando contigo mas adelante para reservarla para el otro ano.Asi que mil gracias por todo.
