We are located in a vibrant residential neighbourhood in Playa's trendy north end. We are perfectly situated. We are 4 blocks away from Playa's best beach and we are a short walk from 5th avenue. The restaurants, shops and nightlife are very close by, yet far enough away that there is no disco music permeating your sleep. We are also walking distance to Mega and Walmart, which open early and late. There is a local italian store for high-end foods and a great fruit market. Playa's best coffee and only authentic french croissants are also walking distance. A short walk to the west are many authentic mexican restaurants where few tourists go. Prices are cheap and the food is fresh and flavourful. Our location offers no compromises, here you can truly have it all.

We highly recommend this unit for your Playa del Carmen vacation. We stayed here 10 days and nights in February and it is a beautiful apartment with top notch amenities. It has a modern kitchen, beautiful bathroom (we especially loved the shower) and a gorgeous rooftop patio to hang out in the evening and enjoy the warm breezes. The apartment is located a mere 5 minute walk (about 2.5 blocks) from the 5th avenue shopping and dining and another 5 minutes (2 more blocks) to the best beach in Playa. There are terrific restaurants all around and we tried almost every one on the owner's list of suggested eating places. It is also very close to a large grocery store (Mega) where we purchased everything we needed to cook ourselves breakfast every morning. We also highly recommend the Nativo restaurant on 30th where we went for a litre of fresh juice every morning. Check in and out was very easy and the owners were always available to answer any questions we had. All in all we very much enjoyed our stay here and we definitely will go back one day.

My wife and I especially enjoyed our stay at the Toltec house, it truly felt like a home away from home.
The high end kitchen has everything you need to prepare any meal with lots of great natural light. All the amenities of the house were impressive but two features really stand out - the bedroom and the roof top patio.
The bed like everything else was top quality and very comfortable but the best part was the natural light and beautiful breeze that kept it at the perfect temperature. Lying there in the late afternoon with the breeze going through the trees was the ideal place for a siesta.
The roof top patio is an awesome place to have your morning coffee and your afternoon cocktails, a nice Weber BBQ and speakers for music make it a great place to hang out. After dark you can lay back and see the stars or watch the clouds fly by with the breeze.
I would definitely recommend the Toltec house and plan to stay there in the future.

Beautiful and clean rental only 2 blocks from the popular promenade and great restaurants. Friendly owners provided great advice on things to do, places to go and especially yummy restaurants. Unit came with very modern luxuries including a fully stocked kitchen and great BBQ not to mention the free wifi. Roof top patio was a perfect place to wind down after a day on the beach (only a few blocks away). Location was the perfect balance of "tourist" and "local". Only 5 minutes away from the popular tourist haunts but quiet enough to ensure a restful and peaceful sleep. Owners went out of their way to ensure our stay was top notch. Very service oriented. Can't wait to get back!!
