Villa Azucena is a spacious 3 bedroom, four and a half bath villa with not only a private pool, but also a fantastic view of one of the prettiest lakes on the 18 Hole Von Hagge Championship Golf Course. One of the exclusive Villas del Mayab homes located in the Playacar Phase II community of Playa del Carmen, it is just a three minute walk from the white, sandy beaches and turquoise waters of the Caribbean, as well as bustling downtown Playa del Carmen where you???ll find the most popular restaurants, bars and shopping around.

Beautifully decorated in the Spanish style with elegant, custom-made mahogany furnishings, Villa Azucena defini...tely exceeds your expectations! On the first floor is a large bedroom with King size bed and private bath, a fully equipped and recently remodeled kitchen with separate dining and living area. There is also a smaller bedroom with bunk beds just perfect for the kids. From almost the entire first floor, you have an excellent view of the lakeside pool and golf course.

Great Amenities, Great Location

On the second floor you find the spacious Master bedroom with King size bed, as well as another guest bedroom with twin beds which can be joined to make an additional King bed. Both bedrooms have private baths and large walk in closets. Villa Azucena is everything you could hope for and more! Fully air conditioned, satellite TV, VCR and BBQ grill are just a few of the amenities. You also have access to the Villas del Mayab tennis court and the large swimming pool through a shared garden area. Next door to the villa, is the Playacar Aviary where you can walk among numerous exotic birds.

As a guest of the villa, you can participate in the all-inclusive benefits of the Reef Club Resort. With the VIP Guest card, you have access to beach towels and lounge chairs or you may opt for the half-day or full day all-inclusive package for a discounted fee. This entitles you to all meals, snacks and beverages, non-motor water sports activities, on site gym, children's play area and pool activities!

Another fabulous advantage of of this house is the fact that it is located nearby several other premium vacation homes such as Villa La Perla Blanca, Casa Milagro, Casa Colandrea, Casa del Gecko, Casa Palapa and Villa Azucena. You and your family or friends can vacation together, but not feel crowded as each of these homes has 3 or more bedrooms and are located within yards from each other!   My husband, 7 year old and my parents staid at Villa azucena for a week. We loved everything about the house, but the highlight was the pool and the sense of privacy. The pictures don't lie. You are right on a little lake looking out on the golf course. The house is in a very well developed neighborhood, but with a bird sanctuary on one side and the golf course as your backyard, it feels very private. I was indifferent about the golf course, but it turned out to be a lot of fun watching everyone play and the setting is so pretty. There were tons of birds and agoutis to watch. The action in town is just a 4-5 minute walk and there's a path to the beach that takes about 3-4 minutes. It's a nice little stretch of beach with no hotels. Seemed popular with the locals when we where there. There's a huge supermarket across the street from the entrance to the development. It's about a 5 minute drive, only because of the one way streets. The house was spotless. The pool guy came everyday and the maid twice while we were there. My only complaint is that it would have been nice to have a "tour" of the house. It took awhile to figure out the air conditioning, we never could figure out the stove and we found the stash of pool toys after buying our own.
