Alcazar De Playa, ' The Fortress,' is a custom-built home located in Playacar, a resort community adjacent to the Village of Playa del Carmen, Mexico. The Playacar development is 800 acres of elegant, all-inclusive hotels, condominiums, private residences, golf course, beaches, and Mayan Ruins. From Alcazar, it is a short 15 minute walk to the Village of Playa del Carmen.

Alcazar is located in the gated community of Playacar adjacent to the town of Playa Del Carmen. It is two doors away from the Reef Club Resort which offers a 3 minute access to the beautiful beach and use of their facilities through the villa's VIP Pass. The area is an area of. upscale private homes,condominium's and five star resorts. The Golf Club is located just 300 yards away. It is a short 10-12 minute walk to downtown Playa Del Carmen and all of itsamenities or you can catch a taxi right in front of the house.

We enjoyed this home so much. The lay out was ideal for mulitple people with an abundance of privacy and places to gather as a group. Every room in this house had it's own charm and it was great fun just to move from room to room for differnt atmospheres. The location was ideal for anything we wanted to do. We especially like the privacy of the pool and the the lovely short walk to the most beautiful beach we have ever seen. There were many great places to eat close by but we loved the kitchen and dinning area for preparing meals together. The back of the house was so beautifully landscaped and secluded you would never know you were located on the main road that leads you everywhere!

A beautiful accommodation in a perfect setting. Just a short stroll to town makes this the premier locale for a wonderful stay. The property is so comfortable and tranquil that you may loose track of time enjoying a book or taking a siesta. I would highly recommend "Alcazar" to any one looking for the getaway of a lifetime. Plenty of room and accommodations for a family get together, a business retreat, or that special group of friends that enjoy traveling together.

We keep returning to Playa as our second home away from home.
This home is inviting and is a most comfortable, romantic cozy delight!
We love the location in Playa, The bedrooms are equipped with a/c,our beds are comfy, the kitchen is well appointed, the pool is always private, you can stay in as much as you want, or venture out for a stroll to the beach or to local establishments. Travelling to and from the airport is easy!
Overall, we can't imagine a better time anywhere. You feel like you
are in you're own lovely hacienda! Looking forward to our 8th trip
back in November!! Thank you -

A great place for a larger group of friends and/or family to use as a base to explore Playa del Carmen and the Mayan Riveria. The property's layout has a very pleasant feel, allowing for easy access to its common amenities while providing each bedroom with everthing needed for each to be private. We very much enjoyed the pool area and enjoyed our breakfasts outside in the lovely patio area. Transportation is very accessable, making it easy to get to downtown Playa and the many other activities that are up and down the Mayan coast. Also, it is only about a 10-15 minute walk to downtown Playa and the ferry to Cozumel.

for the 7th time I have stayed at this beautiful residence. Nothing changes but the beauty - it seems to gt better and beter.
Bedrooms are nicely appointed.
All authentic Mexican furniture... Bathrooms are with large showers and towels.
Kitchen is so amazing to cook in - full range of cooking utensils...
Patio is a setting that makes one want tolinger and just absorb the outdoors... Pool is partly shaded - and sparkling clean.
A great place to get away with friends or family. close to town - walking distance We have stayed there fall and spring...for many years
