This home features one level on the 3rd floor, elevator access, and over 1600 Square feet of living space. The master has a King size bed, second bedroom with twin over double size bunk bed, third bedroom with Queen size bed, This property is professionally decorated and sleeps up to 7 in beds. There is cable TV, DVD, Internet, A/C, Phone in unit. Inside washer/dryer. Incredible ocean views from practically every room. Hear the waves crash from your own private balcony! Oceanica is a brand new community with an ocean view pool, 24-hour security and secured parking.

Oceanica is ideally located in downtown Playa Flamingo, Costa Rica on the famed North Ridge. Flamingo Beach is part of the Costa Rican Riviera and located only 150 yards from this property. Flamingo boasts a beautiful mile long white sand beach with a mild current and tide. This beach is perfect for swimming and sunning. One of the world’s most famous surfing beaches Playa Grande is only 15 minutes by car and the bustling surf town of Tamarindo is close enough to offer you more fun shopping, surf classes, and a bountiful selection of restaurants and nightspots.

  We stayed in this beautiful condo in the Oceanica complex in Playa Flamingo November 5-12, 2011. The condo was pretty, very clean, only a few years old, and had great views. The king bed in the master bedroom was very comfortable and the master had access to its own deck and also the main deck. The master bath was spaciuos and the walk in closet was nicely appointed with built ins of hanging racks, drawers, and shoe racks. Ample place to store and organize everything. The condo itself sits high on a hill overlooking Playa Flamingo. This condo is on the third floor (there is an elevator if needed) in the middle biulding of the complex. The place is secure and safe and the security personnel are freindly and helpful. The walk down the hill to the beach is steep but it is a very short one, only a few minutes. You can enjoy Flamingo without a car, there are over half a dozen restaurants and tour agencies that are all within walking distance. Some of restaurants in nearby Brasilito will even shuttle you for free. The only reason I did not rate this condo 5 stars is the absence of a dishwasher in the kitchen (no big deal if you don't cook much on vacation) and only 1 TV (although a very nice one ) in the unit. This actually might be a plus for some but personally sometines I like to watch TV from bed late at night. The property managers, Blue Water properties, were very helpful, friendly and easy to deal with. Pura Vida until our next visit to this gorgeous country!

  That's the first thing all 8 of us said the minute we walked through the front door! This place is gorgeous and a real bargain! The location is great, it's safe and very secure, the rooms are spacious (especially the master), and the views are incredible. Becky and the rest of the Blue Water staff were so attentive to us from the moment I inquired about the property until the time I was putting our keys in the drop-box on our way out of town. The apartment offers all the comforts of home (not like you spend much time there anyway) and is centrally located so it's a great 'home base' for different adventure tours while in Guanacaste. Just down the street is a fantastic tour company, Flamingo adventures, that caters to your every activity need. There are plenty of great restaurants nearby and nice grocery stores to pick up anything you can think of. I would not hesitate to deal with Becky and Blue Water Properties again and I would definitely stay at this location again...in fact, the thought of 'purchase' even crossed our minds after staying there...we'll see what happens!

  Breathtaking view of Pacific right off the balcony. Animals, birds. Beach right down the hill. Felt like was truly in another part of the world. Excellent road in and out; stuff to do around or can drive into Brasilito or Tamarindo. Small grocery convenient. Delicious restaurants, friendly people. Security guard. Comfortable beds, good showers, deluxe kitchen. Becky and staff extremely helpful. This was a vacation of a lifetime.

  Walking in through the doors of spacious Oceanica 814 in the early afternoon and seeing the Ocean and sunshine put the six adults (parents with married adult children and their spouses) instantly into holiday mode. Keith the owner had just finished stocking the groceries and beer that we had arranged on line. After flipping coins for rooms we jumped into swim suits and were all walking down to the beach, less than five minutes away, We did not rent a car, just used the taxi when we needed more groceries (2km away). We ate at Marie's, the Monkey Bar, Mar Y Sol, and other places that we could get to by walking. The water is perfectly safe to drink from the unit, beds comfortable and had no problems with preparing numerous breakfasts and dinners in the unit. We enjoyed several tours through Eco Trans, who were very professional with comfortable transportation. Buena Vista, Arenal and Monteverde, Palo Verde. We took in the Fiesta (bull riding/fighting/roping) in Potreros, and Brasalito a real Tico experience. Playa Flamingo beach was our favorite place to play, jog, swim and watch amazing sunsets as the rising tide washed away the sand castles. Yes, adults build sand castles.
  Thank you Rebecca and the team at Bluewater properties as well as the super guides and drivers from Eco Trans. We had a fabulous two weeks and were sorry we could not stay longer. It has become a special place to each of us.
