  When planning this trip we decided we wanted a very laid back vacation. We chose Costa Rica and decided we wanted a condo so we had more room and could cook if we wanted to.
  
  The condo was very roomy - 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms (the en-suite bathroom lead to a walk in closet). There was 4 decks to choose from and the timing of our vacation was perfect to lay in bed and have the full moon shine in through the master bedroom patio doors.
  
  Playa Flamingo is a small community with a surprisingly wide variety of restaurants to chose from. There are many water activities if you desire and you can book a variety of adventure tours if you are looking to keep busy. The condo is a 3-4 minute walk to the beach.
  
  There is also a pool at the condo and we seldom found more than a few people there although this could have been due to the time of year we stayed.
  
  There are several grocery stores available by car or cab. Cab fares are inexpensive but we always asked first so we knew what we are paying up front.
  
  The condo was very clean with all the essentials. What I enjoyed was having a washer/dryer on hand. This allows for less luggage and the bonus of being able to walk in the door when arriving home and putting away clean clothes instead of heading for the laundry room! Who would think being able to do laundry on vacation would be such a plus.
  
  We found the Oceanica online and booked through Blue Water Properties of Costa Rica. All the staff were very friendly and most helpful.
  
  We very much enjoyed our stay at the Oceanica and will return!
