This is a very nice condo right on the beach. It is on the third floor of the building. There is a great pool which we didn't really use because we were always at the beach. There are a couple of nice restaurants within waking distance and fun water activities. Our family of five really enjoyed our stay.

We were here for 4 nights and enjoyed it very much. We'd go back. The layout is very useable. Kitchen great - patio - used it a lot! Pool - very nice but it's great having the ocean right there as well. We had excellent local diving here as well.

This is my second time to stay @ Soly y Mar and my second rental via Milagro Costa Rica Rentals. From the beginning of a short notice (booked the condo and car within 7 days from my flight) right up until my departure, Pamela Lewis, Laura and Jennifer were all very helpful, courteous and went out of their way to advise me of things going on in an around Playa Hermosa during my stay. The condo is beautiful and it has everything in it you might need for a comfortable stay for up to 6 guests. You never have to drive if you don't wish to as you can walk to numerous restaurants and the grocery store as well. This trip, we checked out the movie theatre which was very nice and traveled to Nicaragua a couple of times to do some exploring. Playas del Coco is just a 10 km drive as well and plenty of shopping and souveniers can be purchased there. There are so many things to do or you can just relax at the beach, or hang out by the pool and hot tub between you and the beach. The property is maintained by the gardner, Alberto, and it is secured by a wondeful group of ladies and gentlemen via the locked gates at the entrance and a night guard posted at the beach entrance. Say hi to Francisco for us as he is a very warm and nice night guard that has been there for quite some time. You will not be disappointed with the location, amenities and the staff of both Sol y Mar and Milagro Costa Rica Rentals. You will be a repeat customer like us for sure! Pura Vida!

My wife and I had the opportunity to stay at sol y mar 3a this past March. there is so much to say about this property it's hard to know where to begin. First, the condo is on the top floor of the 3 story complex so you get the best view of the beach and sunsets etc. there is a huge walkaround terrace with lounge chairs, tables and full service grill for cooking etc.
Stairs or elevator lead to the lower level and the courtyard pool and jacuzzii for the exclusive use of the guests and owners. From the pool area it is just steps through the gate and you are right on Playa Hermosa beach. this is rare to have this kind of access directoy on a beach in Costa Rica.The beach is quiet and low key with a nice mix of local Ticos and turistas. The condo is huge with 3 full bedrooms, each with private bath. Wireless internet and big screen Tv's make this easy for a working vacation or try to resist and unplug and enjoy the Pura Vida lifestyle. Bottom line, after 5 days at Sol y Mar 3a, we didn't want to leave.
The managing office was great. They are eager to please as well as arrange tours etc. You can't go wrong with this property!
