Our family group of 6 rented Casa azulonda for the New Year's week at the start of 2013. We had a great time, the house suited us well, and we enjoyed our week.
But...
We did spend a lot of time driving to the major attractions - Playa Hermosa is hardly central.
The excursions offered by Milagro / Tico had some pretty major premiums on them compared to just turning up at the sites;
There were several maintenance issues with the house - broken gate and pool equipment, broken door handle, tattered outdoor chairs, ageing linen, dirty kitchen bench / glasses / dishes - all signs of superficial cleaning but no detailed inspection;
In this price range, I would expect bedside lamps, something better than an old TV cabinet to hang my clothes in the main bedroom, a decent shower head, and maybe a mid-week clean;
With our comments, hopefully the property will be restored to its former glory. It has great bones.Response from Milagro Management & Rentals - 03/06/2013

155004Marvelous Home - had loads of fun

Casa azulonda was perfect for us (6 adults, 3 children). We stayed there 9 days over Christmas 2011. The layout was much to our liking, the pool and patio were much used, the scenery was top notch, we had a meal served in-house and family pictures taken on our anniversary. Milagro Property Management were most pleasant, hospitable and helpful before we arrived, during our stay and when we checked out. A great thank you to Jennifer, Laura, Pamela and Jeffry. We would gladly deal with them again and we highly recommend them and Casa azulonda.

Casa azulonda was beautiful. The house is large, clean, comfortable, and has a breathtaking view. The neighborhood is gated with a guard on duty at all times. We loved to view the ocean from the porch or the infinity pool while parrots and other birds flittered through the trees. In the wet season, everything is green and beautiful. Nevertheless, the rain did not hinder any of our activities. I only had to use my rain jacket once. Milgro Management arranged our excursions for us and were extremely helpful and friendly. I found the washer and drier very helpful, as I did not have to pack as many clothes. The house came with plenty of towels and the kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, and everything you'd need. They even have high-speed WiFi. We had a family of four (two kids) plus two grand parents. The layout of house was perfect for us. The kids loved the pool. The grandparents loved the sunsets every night. I loved all the room in this spacious house and the wildlife all around us.

Casa azulonda was better than the pictures. The home was beautiful! The rooms were large and and the living, dining, and bedroom areas all had a wonderful view and access to the outside. Outside, the covered patio area was great, the infinity pool with it's swim up bar was truly unique. As soon as you open the front door, the views are amazing. The bedrooms and bathrooms were large, spacious and clean. Having laundry facilities was also a plus. Kitchen was well equipped, coffee maker, icemaker in the fridge, blender, microwave, diswasher, even a carry along cooler. There were plenty of us channels to choose from on the TV. Two master bedroom suites make it perfect for 2 couples. The folks at Milagro Property rentals are firendly, courteous, professional, and aim to please!! All this anda great value too!!!
