Description from the manager
The inside of the villa is beautiful with the exposed teak beam open ceilings, but by far the best feature of the villa is the deck overlooking the private infinity edge pool that gives way to a Million Dollar ocean view! The villa is comfortably appointed with furniture from local artisans. Enjoy a soak in the 2 person jacuzzi, or take a dip in your private pool.
This gated resort style community is centered in the heart of Playa Hermosa and sits high on a hill to afford beautiful views of Peninsula Papagayo and the ocean beyond. The beautiful beach is minutes from the front door by walking, and there are numerous restaurants nearby. W...Read more

East Hampton, CTFun in the sun!
Left on 05/05/2013 for a stay in April 2013
Laurie's home is just like the pictures show it to be...comfortable and inviting. The kitchen was well stocked, there were plenty of towels and there was enough room for the 5 of us (3 adults and 2 children)to be comfortable and have our own space if we needed it. The washer and dryer and the dishwasher were an added bonus to make vacation living easy. The boys loved the pool right outside the door...they were ready to jump in at 6:00 am (thank goodness for the early sunsets at the end of the day). Speaking of sunsets, we had some awesome veiws on the road between the clubhouse and the unit. The clubhouse offered a big pool with slides for the kids and pool seats so you could swim over to the bar and have a drink. The boys thought this was pretty cool. There's also a mini-golf, a theater and a spa (which unfotunately never seemed to be open). An aTM and a Mercado right by the entrance to Hermosa Heights was most convenient. Milagro Management was easy-breezy to deal with. After a day of travel, the cold drinks and snacks that were awaiting on the day of our arrival were much appreciated. The women who came to clean in the middle of the week were pleasant and really cleaned, not just a surface job. They even folded clothes I had in the dryer and laid them in neat piles on the bed. The location of Hermosa Heights was within easy driving distance of lots of attractions...the beach(es) and fishing, Playa Coco for shopping, zip-lining on the Monkey Trail, the volcano (Rincon de la Vieja), Safari africa, the Tempisque Boat trip and great restaurants (Finesterra, Ginger, Las Olas, Father Rooster). There were no downsides to this vacation...just Pura Vida!

Laura at Milagro was great. She told us everything we needed to know about the area. Made suggestions about trips and answered every question we had. When we emailed her (our phones didn't work) about booking trips she got back to us promptly.
The home was beautifull. The inside was exactly as the pictures showed and the pool and view was even more beautifull than the picutres. I'm glad we chose to rent a car. It allowed us to visite the many beaches near by and check out the shopping and night life in Playa Coco. Which was so much fun.
Also all the tour trips we wanted to do where only anywhere from half an hour to an hour away. So we got to spend more time playing than driving.
Our whole trip was so amazing there is no way I could say what I liked best about it. But being able to come home to our view and pool was at the top of the list. -

St. Paul, MNHermosa Heights #37 was the perfect place for our vacation.
Left on 02/15/2013 for a stay in January 2013
The house was perfectly situated for privacy and enjoyment. It is very comfortable. The owner has done a wonderful job of taking care of the details that make a vacation more enjoyable. We absolutely enjoyed our two weeks at Hermosa Heights. You do need a car as the house is half way up a steep hill. The view from the porch and pool area will forever be with us. The place was very clean and well taken care of. We have no doubts of recommending this property. Milagro management is very accessible and helpful not only with property issues but also with tour arranging, restaurant reservations, and other services. Tico Tours provided a wonderful day at Palo Verde National Park. We also arranged to have a local dinner at our home which was a highlight. We hope to return again and stay longer next time.

Left on 08/25/2012 for a stay in July 2012
Our family had a wonderful time in Guanacaste, and the nice home near Hermosa Beach made it that much more enjoyable. The accommodations were very spacious and comfortable, the pool was refreshing, and the views, especially in the evening, were spectacular. We also enjoyed seeing all the "critters" and birds that would "stop by" to visit. We would recommend this rental house to anyone wanting to spend time in this region of Costa Rica.

Look no further, this property has everything you are looking for and more!
Our entire vacation was effortless due to the caring and professionalism of the property management company and the owner. Both went out of their way to ensure our needs were met. They arranged a airport hire car, rental vehicle, private chef, tour guide and much more. This alone was priceless! This terrific vacation rental is immaculate and beautifully decorated. It has a fully furnished inviting kitchen with a granite breakfast buffet, an oversized Jacuzzi tub, an amazing private infinity edge pool and you can enjoy spectacular sunsets and panoramic ocean views from the deck.
They say location is everything! The property is centrally located and has easy access to the main roads/highways. It provides a great base for exploring all that Costa Rica has to offer i.e. beaches, volcano's, boating, surfing, zip lining, shopping, dining, etc. however, a car is recommended since the public transportation is not reliable.
There are several good restaurants nearby but having a private kitchen was priceless! The grand finale to a spectacular vacation was an on-site massage and facial provided by Spa Therapeutic. This group of lovely ladies are so fantastic and positive, we want to take them home!
This house holds a special place in my heart! The minute we arrived, we were home! Pura Vida, until next time! Az/wa/nv -

Acton, MABeautiful condo with gorgeous ocean view
Left on 04/28/2012 for a stay in April 2012
Hh#37 is a very special place. The condo is in a good location with a spectacular view. The furnishings are gorgeous, and the little extra touches are greatly appreciated: an abundance of plush towels for the beach and bath, high quality linens, quiet but powerful air conditioning units, soft colors, candles and lots of pillows! The private infinity pool is amazing, and we were happy to use it, day and night. The kitchen is very well-equipped, and we made some wonderful meals. Kudos to Laurie for her exquisite taste and attention to detail!
The condo is not really walking distance to the beach, so a car is recommended. And there are so many beaches to explore along the coast that are, in my opinion, prettier than Hermosa, so having a car is essential. But Hermosa Heights is a good home base for beaching, boating, zip lining, shopping and dining. -

Left on 03/02/2012 for a stay in January 2012
This casa has a great location and views. Perfect for Grandparents and their kids with grandkids or a family with kids. Very comfortable. Nicely decorated Unbelievable variety of birds that can be watched from the deck. Having a pool makes it great in the afternoon for a refreshing dip. Wi-Fi and cable with a good size TV are a real plus. Bring your I-TV and do the Netflix from home. The beach is very close and within walking distance. Have Rocio come and cook for you... the experience is unbelievable. Lori and everyone at Milagro are a pleasure to work with. this is our second visit to this property and our sixth to this area of Costa Rica. Truly a Pura Vida experience.

We has a great time at this wonderful house. The pool, the view and the sleeping arragements were fantastic. The owner and management team were very friendly and provided a lot of useful information. This house is located about a mile from Hermosa Beach which we visited every single day. We also spend a lot of the time at the beautiful community pool and most of the evenings floating on our private pool. Pura Vida!

We were extremely pleased with the home, and with the management team. Everything was exactly as advertised if not better! We were concerned about the home being in a complex (we are solitary people), but it was a terrific location, being at the very end of the st., and right beside the jungle itself, so we got to view howler monkeys, while having coffee on the patio---how lovely!!! The complex is well maintained, with spa/theatre/bar/restaurant at the bottom of the hill---perfect!! A grocery store within walking distance!! We shall certainly return!

Left on 01/16/2011 for a stay in January 2011
I loved our trip to Costa Rica, what a beautiful country. The beaches all around Hermosa Heights are beautiful. This home is in a great location!
There was a major parking issue the first 4 days of our stay, but Sue helped in resolving this issue. Also upon arrival we found that all of the beach towels were still damp and most of the dishes were dirty. But this is not a problem with the house at all, it's a problem with the maid service.
This house is beautifully decorated and comfortable. I could not have asked for a better vacation. I appreciate the time Milagro took in helping us get around to places we wanted to see and pointing out places we might like to see.
Thanks so much! We will be back -

Williamsburg, VAExceeded our expectations!
Left on 09/08/2010 for a stay in August 2010
This is a wonderful place to stay. The house is decorated beautifully and comfortably. We especially loved the patio and pool. The views are amazing. Kitchen was well stocked and Milagro thoughtfully had provided some Welcome snacks and drinks. We had one air conditioning problem which was fixed within hours, even though it was a weekend. Management put us in touch with Bernal, a top notch guide, and great area restaurants. We enjoyed the development's pool with slides and the mini-golf. A gated community with attentive guards. A car is not necessary but is very helpful. The beach is within walking distance, but it's a haul and the trip home has a steep incline. It was nice and quiet. We would definitely stay here again.

We had a group of 6 friends. This was our first trip to Costa Rica, and we'll definitely be back. I nice quiet retreat surrounded by great beaches and friendly people. The staff at Milagro and Hermosa Heights were very helpful. A perfect getaway for those looking to relax, but not too far from the surfing/nightlight in Tamarindo. Ziplines, horses, river tubing, waterfalls, hotsprings, mud spas -you name it! And the beaches in Playa Hermosa we beautiful, private, and great for snorkeling.

I really enjoyed our stay. The house was wonderful and very clean. Our children enjoyed the pool after a day at the beach. The only thing I did not like was the hard sales for time shares be careful because they lie about cheap tours to get you to go. Other than that we practically had the beach to our selves.

This home in Costa Rica is absolutely beautiful. This place really feels like home, has lots of space, an amazing pool, and is very well appointed. The views and amenities were far above expectations. We plan to visit this home again. I recommend renting a home as opposed to a hotel - you have much more freedom, privacy, and options this way.
